Aaron Kupin raised to 100,000 in the hijack and Nick Schulman called in the small blind.
Both players checked to the river on a board of K♦7♥3♦10♣2♣. Kupin then bet 225,000, but Schulman announced pot to 575,000.
Kupin tanked for a few minutes, and he eventually gave up his hand.
William Kerkaert raised to 175,000 in the cutoff. Sam Soverel responded with a three-bet to 575,000 in the small blind, which Kerkaert called.
Soverel then potted the 10♥5♥4♠ flop for 1,250,000. Kerkaert went all in for only a little more, and Soverel snap-called with the covering stack.

Both players had aces, but Soverel had the better low draw and better flush draw.
The Q♦ turn upgraded Kerkaert to two pair to take the lead, but Soverel's nut flush completed on the 6♥ river to send the Day 1 chipleader out in 13th place.
David Benyamine raised to 175,000 in the cutoff and William Kerkaert called on the button.
The flop came 3♦2♣2♠ and Benyamine bet 125,000. Kerkaert called, and the A♦ fell on the turn.
Benyamine then bet another 250,000, andn Kerkaert again called. The river was the 8♣ and Benyamine checked over to Kerkaert, who bet 800,000. Benyamine quickly folded, and Kerkaert took the pot.
Scott Clements raised to 125,000 under the gun. Sam Soverel three-bet to 525,000 next to act, and Clements called once the action had folded back to him.
Clements then checked the 7♦7♥6♣ flop to Soverel, who barreled a pot-sized bet of 1,175,000 into the middle.
Clements quickly folded, and Soverel tabled AxAx9x5x4x as he raked in the pot.
Aaron Kupin raised to 125,000 on the button and Daniel Aharoni called in the big blind.
The flop came K♦2♦A♠ and Kupin bet 175,000. Aharoni called, and the K♥ fell on the turn.
Kupin then bet 325,000, but this time Aharoni announced all in. Kupin, with around 1,000,000 remaining, quickly folded and Aharoni took the pot.
Doug Lorgeree raised to 125,000 in the hijack and Sean Troha reraised to 425,000 on the button. Lorgeree then moved all in, and Troha called for 650,000.

Troha ended up with two pair on the 10♠A♠5♥7♠5♦ flop, while they had the same low and Troha took three-quarters.
William Kerkaert raised his button to 175,000, and Sam Soverel tossed in calling chips from the big blind.
Kerkaert pushed another 175,000 into the pot on the A♥3♣8♣ flop. Soverel check-called to the 8♠ turn, where he checked again.
After some time in the tank, Kerkaert sized up to 400,000. Soverel sighed before he mucked, surrendering the pot.
Mike Matusow raised to 175,000 under the gun and Joshua Ray called in the big blind. Ray then moved all in on the Q♠2♦7♥ flop, and Matusow called for his last 175,000.
