Kupin Gets Shove Through; Furth Overtakes Soverel

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Aaron Kupin raised to 100,000 in the hijack. Daniel Aharoni called on the button, and the duo went to a 9♦7♣4♦ flop. Kupin checked before he called Aharoni's bet of 325,000.

The 3♠ turn then prompted Kupin to move all in for 765,000. Aharoni gave it some thought, but ultimately folded to concede the pot.

At the other table, Sam Soverel raised to 150,000 under the gun. Bruno Furth called in the cutoff, and William Kerkaert followed suit in the small blind.

It checked to Furth on the 4♣6♣7♥ flop, who fired a bet of 225,000. Kerkaert folded before Soverel called. The 4♦ turn was then checked through to the 2♣ river, where Soverel led out for 750,000.

Furth quickly called, and he received three-quarters of the pot with A♦9♣5♣6♦3♥ for a flush and the nut low as Soverel only had the same low with A♥10♥9♠8♥3♦.

Troha Left Short After Getting Quartered

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Three-way to a 10♠K♣3♥ flop, the action checked to Doug Lorgeree on the button, who bet 225,000. Sean Troha then moved all in for 900,000 from the big blind, quickly folding out James Obst in middle position.

Lorgeree, however, called without too much thought, revealing the cards.

The 7♦4♠ runout ensured both players remained with kings and tens with an ace kicker for the high, but Lorgeree had made a runner-runner low to take three-quarters of the pot.
