Directly after dinner break, Bruce Diamond removed his hat and was ready for business. Diamond raised from button to 2,900,000, and Ablahad Salim wasted no time shoving his chips in the middle for 11,800,000 effective.

Diamond questioned Halim, "Did you even look?"

Halim answered, "Maybe."

Diamond called.

A player on Day 1 of the $3,000 6-Handed No-Limit Hold'em event at the World Series of Poker was kicked out of the tournament for putting his chips in his pocket after attempting to smoke at the table.

The WSOP's social media account posted a video of the incident involving a player arguing with a floor supervisor over smoking a cigarette at the table. The player was adament about smoking while playing, which hasn't been permitted in any U.S. poker room since 2003.

On the turn 10♥ Bucceri took the lead and bet 1,000,000. Mohammadi raised to 3,000,000, and Bucceri called.

Both players checked the river 2♣. Bucceri turned over Q♠4♠, and Mohammadi turned over J♠10♠ for a pair of tens and the win.

The flop came 9♣Q♠A♥ and German check-called a bet of 1,500,000 from Mohammadi. On the 5♦ turn, German checked again and Mohammadi moved all in, putting German at risk, who had about 4,000,000 behind. German thought for a brief moment and made the call.
