After more than 30 hours of play inside the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas, just 31 players remain in Event #47: $25,000 High Roller Pot-Limit Omaha as the tournament enters its penultimate day with the largest portions of the $10,598,500 prizepool still to be distributed.
The remaining contenders have outlasted a field of 451 entries and are now closing in on the pinnacle of World Series of Poker (WSOP) success: a gold bracelet and, in this particular event, the $2,161,050 top prize that comes with it.
Having bagged 6,820,000, Alex Foxen brings the chip lead into the day as his red-hot summer shows no signs of slowing down. However, plenty of accomplished Pot-Limit Omaha specialists are within striking distance.
Among those returning inside the top ten are Eelis Parssinen, Richard Gryko, and Chance Kornuth, all of whom have proven their four-card credentials on poker's biggest stage.
Gryko and Kornuth each own a WSOP bracelet in PLO events, while Parssinen captured his lone bracelet in the $5,000 Mixed No-Limit Hold'em/Pot-Limit Omaha event at the 2021 WSOP.

Today’s play will see the field reduced from 31 players down to just five, who will return for the final day with the title within reach. Resuming at noon local time, the action will recommence on Level 21, with blinds of 25,000/50,000 and a 50,000 big blind ante.
