The WSOP has moved the final three tables to the streamed feature tables area, which means our live reporting will have to be delayed around 2.5 hours to match the stream, per the WSOP media guidelines. We apologize for the inconvenience.
2026 World Series of Poker
Level: 32
Blinds: 120,000/240,000
Ante: 240,000
Michael Comisso opened to 400,000 from the cutoff. Bradley Gafford called on the button and Mark Newhouse joined from the small blind.
The flop fanned out J♣10♥K♠ before Newhouse opted to go all-in for 1,780,000.
Comisso wasted little time making the fold, but Gafford had a decision. Gafford tanked for a couple of minutes before he decided on a fold as Newhouse chipped up significantly without a showdown.
Picking up the action on the turn with the board reading K♠10♠4♥2♦, big blind Joshua Steinberg checked to Irene Carey in the cutoff. Carey bet 500,000, Steinberg check-raised to 1,500,000, and Carey called after some thought.
The river was the 7♠ and carefully, Steinberg cut out of a bet of 3,300,000. He stacked up all the chips and slid them forward in one motion.
Carey took the better part of three minutes considering her options. She then flashed the K♣ and mucked her hand.
Steinberg proudly showed A♠3♥ for the bluff and raked in the pot.
Jed Friedman opened to 400,000 from under the gun before Garry Gurevich re-raised to 2,000,000 from the next seat over. Freidman jammed, and Gurevich called to put himself at risk for 2,510,000 total.
Garry Gurevich: A♥K♠
Jed Friedman: A♣10♦
The 9♥J♦5♥ runout was not much of a threat to Gurevich, who was still in the lead with his better ace.
The turn gave each player a piece, but Gurevich caught the bigger piece when the K♥ came on the turn.
Friedman could spike a non-heart queen to hit a straight, but the A♦ river was not what he was looking for as Gurevich scored the double.
The following players were all eliminated in the early stages. Each of them received $27,300 for their respective deep runs. The next pay jump will be to $33,000.
Irene Carey raised to 400,000 in the cutoff and Dustin Nelson three-bet shoved around 1,200,000 on the button. Back on Carey, she flicked in a calling chip.
Dustin Nelson: K♠Q♥
Irene Carey: A♦9♦
The dealer fanned out 8♥4♠3♣A♣10♠ for Carey to eliminate another player in this tournament and soar to nearly 10 million in chips.
Zachary Levine shoved for his final 1,515,000 on the button. Meng Dian Peng asked for the count before he made the call from the big blind to put Levine at risk.
Zachary Levine: K♠7♠
Meng Dian Peng: K♣Q♠
Levine's hand was dominated heading into the runout. The flop came J♥8♣4♣ to keep Peng in the lead.
Levine caught a sliver of hope when the 5♦ peeled to give him a straight draw, but his double-up would not come to pass on the K♦ river to eliminate him from contention.
Michael Monroig raised to 400,000 and Erik Rozhynskyi three-bet shoved 2,460,000 two seats over. Monroig took about a minute before calling it off.
Erik Rozhynskyi: Q♥Q♦
Michael Monroig: A♠J♠
Queens held up on a 6♣5♥3♥2♣K♣ board for Rozhynskyi to double up.
Christos Argyriadis went all-in for 1,560,000 from the hijack before Pierre Mothes went all-in from the next seat over in the cutoff for 2,660,000 to put Argyriadis at risk.
Christos Argyriadis: 7♣7♦
Pierre Mothes: A♣Q♦
Argyriadis needed to fade the overcards, and the board obliged when it came 6♦K♣8♣6♠10♣ to award Argyriadis the double-up and leave Mothes down in the danger zone.
