The WSOP has moved the final three tables to the streamed feature tables area, which means our live reporting will have to be delayed around 2.5 hours to match the stream, per the WSOP media guidelines. We apologize for the inconvenience.
2026 World Series of Poker
Seiji Sasaki shipped it for 1,800,000 from the cutoff. Meng Dian Peng opted to three-bet to 10,200,000 from the small blind as Sasaki and Peng went to a showdown, with Sasaki at risk.
Seiji Sasaki: A♥7♣
Meng Dian Peng: K♠J♠
Sasaki hit the flop when it came 8♠A♠6♦ to expand his lead. The 8♥ turn sealed the deal in favor of Sasaki as the meaningless 2♠ hit the river to award Sasaki the double up.
Ryan Eriquezzo opened to 1,600,000 from under the gun and Jacob Gagnon moved all in from the big blind for his last 11,200,000. Eriquezzo snaped him off and the pair went to showdown.
Jacob Gagnon: A♦5♦
Ryan Eriquezzo: K♠K♣
The 7♥6♥4♣ flop was good for Gagnon as he picked up an open-ended straight draw. The 4♥ turn didn't change anything but the 3♥ river saw Gagnon take the pot away from Eriquezzo and secure the double up.
Mark Newhouse went all-in for 4,200,000 from the hijack before Meng Dian Peng made the call from the big blind to put Newhouse at risk.
Mark Newhouse: A♥3♣
Meng Dian Peng: K♣J♣
The flop did not help Newhouse when it came 4♠10♣6♦.
The 8♣ turn was bad news for Newhouse as it removed one of his outs.
Peng hit the flush on the 4♣ to eliminate Newhouse in 16th place. Newhouse earned $75,200 for his finish.
Michael Monroig opened to 1,600,000 from middle position with Q♠7♠ and Seiji Sasaki called from the small blind looking down at Q♣8♣.
A.J. Allee also defended the big blind with 10♠6♥, taking the players three ways to the 2♦K♣6♠ flop.
Sasaki checked, Allee bet 1,100,000 and Monroig raised to 3,700,000. Sasaki folded and Allee took some time before mucking his hand.
Vincent Moscati went all-in for 11,500,000 from the cutoff and was called by Joseph Baghdadlian in the small blind to be at risk.
Vincent Moscati: A♠9♠
Joseph Baghdadlian: A♥10♦
The flop gave some opportunities for a chop when it came 7♠3♣3♦.
The 2♦ kept Baghdadlian in the lead, and the 6♦ sealed the deal as Moscati exited in 17th place.
Moscati earned $75,200 for his effort.
Joshua Steinberg opened to 7,000,000 from under the gun, leaving himself just 200,000 behind. Action folded around to Michael Monroig who three-bet to 7,200,000 exactly on the button. Players were on a pay jump and Steinberg went into a small tank before calling to risk his tournament life.
Joshua Steinberg: A♣J♦
Michael Monroig: A♥Q♦
Steinberg saw he was behind when the cards were flipped and the 6♦4♦A♦ flop didn't change the standings. The 5♦ was turned and Steinberg was sent to the rail as Monroig had the better diamond. He stood from the table as the 7♦ river was placed, and he hit the rail in 18th place for $60,600.
Joseph Baghdadlian raised to 1,600,000 with K♠6♠ from the hijack and was called by Ryan Eriquezzo in the big blind.
The 8♠7♦A♣ flop was checked by Eriquezzo. Baghdadlian bet 2,000,000, which was called by Eriquezzo.
The A♥ turn was checked again by Eriquezzo. Baghdadlian bet 5,000,000, which elicited a fold from Eriquezzo to take down the pot.

A player in the WSOP $1,000 Super Seniors has found himself in hot water after bringing an X-rated card protector to the table.
Andrew Martin, who was competing on Day 2 of the event, told PokerNews that WSOP floor staff instructed him to remove the silver card protector after deeming it inappropriate for use during the tournament.
According to Martin, staff also issued a warning on his WSOP account and informed him that any further use of the item could result in a more serious penalty.
