Shaun Deeb raised under the gun. Joey Couden three-bet on the button, and Deeb called before they both took two on the first draw.

Deeb then led out with a bet, and Couden raised. Deeb was not satisfied yet and three-bet, seeing Couden just call. Deeb remained pat, after which Couden drew one card.

After Deeb bet and Couden called, Deeb remained pat on the final draw, prompting Couden to draw one more card.

Deeb quickly added another bet to the pot, and Couden looked him up. Deeb tabled 8x6x4x3x2x for number six, and Couden mucked his cards in defeat.

Antonios Onoufriou raised from the hijack and was three-bet by Shaun Deeb in the cutoff. Action folded back to Onoufriou, who put the last of his chips into the middle.

Both players drew two on the first draw.

On the second draw Onoufriou took one off while Deeb drew two again.

Onoufriou took one more on the final draw and Deeb stood pat.

Shaun Deeb has been winning a number of smaller pots to extend his chip lead even further.

In a recent hand, Thomas Taylor raised on the button and called a three-bet from Deeb, who was in the big blind.

Taylor called a bet from Deeb on the 8♥10♠Q♣ flop and then both players checked on the 5♠ turn and 10♥ river.

"Sevens," Deeb announced as he tabled 7♥7♦.

Taylor couldn't beat it and mucked — awarding Deeb the pot and leaving Taylor with just 510,000 behind.

A player on Day 1 of the $3,000 6-Handed No-Limit Hold'em event at the World Series of Poker was kicked out of the tournament for putting his chips in his pocket after attempting to smoke at the table.

The WSOP's social media account posted a video of the incident involving a player arguing with a floor supervisor over smoking a cigarette at the table. The player was adament about smoking while playing, which hasn't been permitted in any U.S. poker room since 2003.
