Kupin Crosses Two Starting Stacks

Level 4

Pot-Limit Omaha

Aaron Kupin raised to 7,000 under the gun. Justin Liberto flat-called in the hijack, and the short-stacked Philip Long defended his big blind. The 947 flop then checked to Liberto, who bet 12,000.

Long quickly folded, but Kupin called to the 6 turn. Liberto sized up to 32,000, and Kupin called after a long time in the tank.

The 10 river saw no further action, as the players checked to showdown. Kupin announced a straight and tabled AA85 to prove it, and he was awarded the pot when Liberto smiled and mucked.
