Level 4
Kristopher Tong
Kristopher Tong

No-Limit Hold'em

Danny Tang opened to 5,500 in the hijack and Kristopher Tong flatted on the button. In the big blind, Maxx Coleman squeezed to 30,000 and Tang elected to just call. Tong then jammed all in for 302,000. Coleman rejammed covering the others, sending Tang into a frenzy, and he had just under 200,000 behind.

"I was the one trapping," Tang lamented, "How am I in this spot in my own game?" as he folded AK face-up.

Kristopher Tong: AQ All in
Maxx Coleman: JJ

The two were flipping for massive implications as the Q64 flop vaulted Tong into the lead. Coleman could not find any improvement on the 2Q runout, and Tong made trips to drag a huge one.

Ausmus Doubles Through Vieira, Who Then Busts to Blom

Level 4
Joao Vieira
Joao Vieira

Pot-Limit Omaha

On a flop of J32, Joao Vieira led for 15,000 from the big blind, and Jeremy Ausmus called from under the gun after he limp-called Vieira's pot raise preflop, bringing the pot size to around 55,000.

The turn was the K as Vieira potted, Ausmus was all in for 62,000, and Vieira called.

Jeremy Ausmus: JJ77 All in
Joao Vieira: AAJ5

Ausmus flopped a set of jacks but Vieira had a gutter and two aces available. However, the river was the 10 and Ausmus doubled.

The next hand, Viktor Blom had opened second-to-act before Joao Vieira potted from the small blind, and Blom called.

On the 875 flop, Vieira jammed for his final 54,000 and Blom called.

Joao Vieira: AAQ3 All in
Viktor Blom: QQJ10

Vieira was in good shape against the queens and gutter of Blom. The 3 turn added no additional outs, but the river was the 9, and Blom made his straight to send Vieira to the rail, in what was a reminder in how brutal aces can be in this game.

Pot-Limit Omaha

Max Kruse limped from the hijack, Jonathan Krela limped from the cutoff, Patrick Stacey limped from the small blind, and Chance Kornuth potted to 12,500 from the big blind, which all three opponents called.

The 1073 flop checked through to the Q turn which saw Kornuth lead for 38,000, and only Kruse called.

Kornuth then checked the K river, and Kruse took some time before he elected to check behind.

"Queen-ten," Kornuth announced.

Kruse replied, "No good," showing QQ97 for a set of queens as he laughed, "I was trying to trap, but it was so bad."

"I would have check-folded on the river, anyway," Kornuth responded as the ex-footballer collected the pot.
