Max Kruse opened to 16,000 from under the gun before David Benyamine made it 125,000 from the cutoff. Kruse mulled over his options, before calling and leaving around 29,000 behind.
Kruse drew one, while Benyamine remained pat.
After peeling his card, Kruse let out a deep exhale and gestured a fold. Benyamine was still kind enough to show he had Kruse beat with 10x9x5x4x2x.
On the next deal, Ryan Miller raised to 14,000 from middle position and was called by Marco Johnson from the button. Kruse then put in his last 22,000 from the big blind. Miller made it 59,000 and Johnson called.
All three players drew one, and then Miller and Johnson checked it through to showdown.
Johnson tabled 10x8x6x5x3x which bested Miller. Kruse was drawing dead, as he was showing a ten-nine draw. He looked at his final card, sent it back to the table and exited the tournament.
Elsewhere, Dario Sammartino was eliminated.
Pot-Limit Omaha
David "ODB" Baker raised to 15,000 under the gun. Frank Brannan called on the button before Christopher Vitch squeezed in a three-bet to 62,000 from the small blind.
Big blind Dylan Weisman then spent a while in the tank before he called, leaving only 8,000 behind. Baker also came along, but Brannan had seen enough and folded.
Vitch continued for 135,000 on the A♦9♦6♠ flop. Weisman quickly called all in, while Baker mucked his cards after a few minutes in the tank.

Weisman turned extra outs on the J♠, but the 5♣ river bricked off to send him to the rail.

Action was picked up on sixth street with a big pot brewing between Phil Ivey and Chino Rheem.
On sixth street, Ivey bet before Rheem raised, leaving less than a bet behind. Ivey made the call.
On seventh street, Ivey lead out for a bet, and that sent Rheem deep into the tank, who showed his card on 7th street was the 10♠.
After nearly two minutes debating his decision, Rheem found the call and was eliminated after Ivey tabled his eight-six, and Rheem tossed his cards into the muck and quickly left the tournament area.
Pot-Limit Omaha
Eric Wasserson raised to 15,000 in the cutoff. James Obst flat-called on the button, and Philip Sternheimer came along from the big blind.
It then checked to Obst on the J♦9♥9♦ flop. He committed his remaining 33,000, folding out Sternheimer but getting snapped off by Wasserson.

Obst needed to hit quads to best Wasserson's full house, but the last nine in the deck did not appear on the 8♦4♥ runout, confirming his elimination. At another table, Ben Diebold was also ridded of his final few chips.

Gus Hansen: XxXx/2♠J♣6♠7♥/Xx - folded on seventh street
Chris Hunichen bet on fourth street, and Gus Hansen called. Hansen called more bets from Hunichen on fifth and sixth street, seeing his opponent toss in more chips on seventh street.
Hansen's final card was not to his liking, as he mucked his hand to forfeit the pot. Not much later, the short-stacked Qinghai Pan was eliminated from this table.

Maksim Pisarenko: J♦10♠/J♥3♥J♠A♣/4♥
Ben Yu committed his final chips on third street, being up against Maksim Pisarenko. Pisarenko had ended with trips, and Yu bricked his flush draw on seventh street to depart the tournament.
Meanwhile, Hal Rotholz had been the last person eliminated before the dinner break.
2-7 Lowball Triple Draw
Brad Owen raised from under the gun and called when Brian Rast reraised from the button.
Both players drew one, and Owen check-called a bet. Owen and Rast took another one each on second draw, but this time, Owen led out with a bet. Rast called.
Owen stood pat, while Rast took one. Owen bet, but quickly folded when Rast raised. Owen announced he had a no-good straight, showing 6x5x4x3x2x, and was left short.
No-Limit Hold'em
Rast opened to 12,000 from the cutoff and and Owen defended his big blind, leaving 30,000 behind. Owen check-folded to a bet for his tournament life on the 10♦5♦4♥ flop.
Phil Hellmuth then took the next two pots to chip up slightly.
Owen then put in his last 25,000 from the hijack and Rast called from the big blind, to put the poker vlogger at risk.

Owen immediately left his chair, and started collecting his belongings. However, the K♠2♥J♣ flop gave him the lead. The 6♣ turn and 4♣ river completed the runout and Owen survived.
At another table, Ioannis Angelou Konstas became the final casualty before dinner break.

Chance Kornuth was left with 3,000 by Phil Hui in previous hand, and after paying his ante, he had just 1,000 left. He decided to preserve for at least one more hand as he folded.
Dara Taherpour, Eric Wasserson and James Obst all called to see fourth street.
It checked to Tahapour, and he bet. Sternheimer was the only caller. Sternheimer then check-called bets all the way to showdown, where Taherpour tabled J♥6♠3♦ for a seven-high straight and six-five low. Sternheimer mucked.

Kornuth's last chip then went into the middle, and he was hoping he could scoop 7,000 in antes.
Hui was the bring in once more, and Sternheimer folded before Taherpour completed. Brian Tate and Hui called.
Taherpour made open fives on fourth street and bet. Only Tate called.
Tate called a bet on fifth street, and then bet on sixth street after Taherpour checked. The latter called for seventh street to check through to showdown.
Taherpour announced two pair, tabling 7♣7♠2♠ for sevens and fives. Tate had Kx2xXx for just a pair of kings, with no low.
A queen, nine, eight or a bigger pair in the hole would save Kornuth but he showed down A♣6♦3♣ and exited the tournament.
