Clocking Martin Kabrhel

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Aaron Kupin
Aaron Kupin

Zhijian Zhang called the clock on Martin Kabrhel twice in consecutive hands, as Kabrhel took an inordinate amount of time to make a decision on whether to make a call.

In the first hand, Kabrhel bet 200,000 on a full board of 3735Q. Aaron Kupin check-raised him to 460,000 chips.

After much haggling with the dealer over the exact count of Kupin's stack – the dealer tabulated the total in stacks of six instead of five – Kabrhel took a while pondering the call.

When Kabrhel heard someone call for the clock, he asked who did it.

After Zhang acknowledged it was him, Kabrhel said, "Congratulations. I will bust you for that."

After the floor started the countdown, Kabrhel let the hand go.

In the ensuing hand, Kabrhed was heads up with Chung Cheung in a small pot that had seen just a preflop raise to 35,000 by Kabrhel on the button, and a call from Cheung.

After a check-through on the turn, the board read JQK8 and Cheung, who was in the big blind, bet 50,000.

Kabrhel stalled again, tanking long enough for Zhang to call the floor a second time.

Kabrhel folded again, turning over a jack, and then did his best to get Cheung to show his hand.

Cheung refused.

The 10 completed the board, and both players opted to check it down.

Kaufmann tabled JJ, which was enough to scoop the pot as Achour’s hand went into the muck.

Shen Needs More Clarity

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Allen Shen
Allen Shen

Omar Del Pino in the small blind and Allen Shen in middle position had already built a pot of 250,000 when the flop dropped 7J2. Del Pino fired 140,000 and Shen called.

Del Pino continued his aggression with a 205,000 bet on the 4 turn.

On the river A, Del Pino put maximum pressure with a shove all-in for 750,000. A flutter of movement all of a sudden happened on Shen's side. He took off his sunglasses, and dug his eyeglasses from his bag, put it on then tanked.

He found clarity after a minute and made the call. Del Pino tabled KK. Somewhat shocked, Shen went, "You've got kings?" then stood up and turned his hand over to show, J10. He bid everyone good luck then left the table.
