2026 World Series of Poker
Darrell Bean opened to 3,000,000 on the button before Vincent Lavollee jammed for 16,100,000 from the big blind. Bean made the call to put Lavollee at risk.
Vincent Lavollee: 9♠9♣
Darrell Bean: A♣Q♦
The flop was all low for Lavollee when it fanned out 3♥3♠4♦ to keep him in the lead.
The 8♠ turn was of no use to Bean, and the 9♦ river upgraded Lavollee to a full house to claim the pot.
Yanting Jiang opened from early position to 2,000,000, only for David Crafti, sat in the next seat, to three-bet to 6,000,000.
Action came back around to Jiang, who four-bet all in. Crafti, who had Jiang covered, didn't like it, but he made the call.
Yanting Jiang: A♣A♦
David Crafti: Q♣Q♠
Not the door card Jiang wanted to see on the Q♥9♥6♥ flop to send Crafti into the lead. Jiang needed an ace to stay alive but got no help on the 6♦ turn nor the 4♠ river and was sent to the rail in a cruel fashion.
Tyler Gentry was all-in and at risk from the under the gun position against Darrell Bean from early position as they went to a showdown.
Tyler Gentry: A♠Q♠
Darrell Bean: A♦J♥
Gentry's ace-queen held strong on the 4♣3♦3♠6♥K♦ runout to secure the double as players headed towards midnight on Day 2.
Level: 36
Blinds: 400,000/800,000
Ante: 800,000
Alejandro Peinado raised in middle position, and called when Eun Joo moved all in for 9,600,000 one seat to his left.
Eun Joo: A♠K♠
Alejandro Peinado: A♣K♦
Joo found herself with a freeroll when the dealer laid out a Q♦8♠10♠ flop, with any spade winning her the full pot.
The 8♣ turn was safe for Peinado, but the 9♠ river was heartbreak, as a visibly frustrated Peinado slid Joo her double up.
A couple of hands later, it was Peinado who was all in at risk. He was unable to survive, but he is taking home his $100,000 bounty that he pulled earlier in the day.
David Crafti made it 1,300,000 to play from early position, and action folded to Alejandro Peinado in the hijack, who three-bet to 3,600,000.
It came back around to Crafti, who four-bet to 9,300,000, only for Peinado to five-bet all in, and he had Crafti covered.
Crafti went deep into the tank for a good few minutes before he made the call to put himself at risk.
David Crafti: J♣J♠
Alejandro Peinado: A♠K♥
A safe run out for Crafti of 3♥6♦Q♣5♣7♥ and he was pushed the monster pot for a double up.
Ian Alcoran raised to 1,600,000 in middle position, and faced an all-in for 8,800,000 from Adam Wagner in the hijack.
"If you fold, I will show", Wagner told Alcoran, but Alcoran was guaranteed to see when he called.
Adam Wagner: A♦K♠
Ian Alcoran: K♣Q♦
There was little to sweat for Wagner on the 10♥7♣6♦5♦J♦ board, seeing him pull in a crucial double up to survive.
Libby Wilson went all-in for 2,300,000 on the button and was called by Narcis Nedelcu in the big blind to be at risk.
Libby Wilson: A♠5♣
Narcis Nedelcu: K♣10♣
The flop kept Wilson in the lead when it came Q♣9♦7♣, but Nedelcu gained some outs with a gutshot straight draw.
The Q♠ turn did not alter the standings, and the Q♥ river sealed the deal in favor of Wilson to award her the double up.
