Both players checked on the Q♦10♣8♥ flop, prompting Negreanu to lead out for 32,000 on the 7♠ turn.
"Too easy", Lehr said as he folded his hand, giving the pot to Negreanu.
Lior Abudi limped from early position and Michael Mizrachi raised to 15,000 from middle position. Action folded back to Abudi, who made it 55,000 to go. Mizrachi called.
Abudi moved all in for his remaining 37,000 on the 7♣K♣J♠ flop and Mizrachi quickly called.

The 2♦10♥ runout kept Abudi best with a straight and he was awarded the double up.
It was a small blip for Mizrachi, however, as he still sits as the current chip leader with about 1,200,000.
Martin Zamani raised pot from the hijack and just behind him, Andrew Kelsall moved all in for 26,000 total in the cutoff. Action folded back to Zamani, who quickly called with a covering stack to put Kelsall at risk.

There were 836 entries, generating a prize pool of $7,774,800. The top 126 players will make the money, while the champion will earn $1,350,203 and the WSOP gold bracelet.

Both players had flopped a flush, but Schulman was drawing dead. The dealer completed the board with an inconsequential river, and Tavares was awarded his double-up.
After Joe Cada and Conrad Fourie limped in, James Chen raised to 22,000 on the button and Cada called in the hijack, as did Fourie in the cutoff.
The flop came J♣3♣3♠ and Cada moved all in for 56,000. Fourie folded, while Chen called to put Cada at risk.

Cada needed to improve against Chen's kings, and he picked up a straight draw on the 4♥ turn. The 2♦ river gave him his straight, and Cada doubled up.
Javier Francort limped from the hijack and Matt Glantz made it 15,000 to go from the cutoff. Action folded back to Francort, who called.
Francort checked on the 3♥2♣7♣ flop and Glantz continued for 20,000. Francort took a bit of time before announcing he was all in and Glantz called all in for about 50,000 total.

Glantz held a big lead with aces and a flush draw to boot and remained ahead on the 4♠ turn; however, the 9♥ river improved Francort to two pair and Glantz was eliminated.
Sascha Wilhelm raised to 10,000 in middle position and Kartik Ved called on the button. Pavel Plesuv then three-bet to 44,000 in the small blind and both opponents called.
The flop came A♥2♣5♣ and Plesuv bet 65,000. Wilhelm folded, while Ved called for his last 10,000.

Ved had flopped two pair to take the lead, and he stayed in front through the 3♠ turn and J♠ river to secure the double up.
Shariq Khan raised 13,000 in the hijack, which both Hooman Nikzad and Phil Ivey called from the cutoff and big blind.
Once Ivey checked on the 4♣10♣A♦ flop, Khan continued with a bet of 20,000. Nikzad then raised to 125,000, which got a quick fold from Ivey, but Khan three-bet, putting Nikzad all in for 192,000, who called.
