Emmanuel Derecho raised to 30,000 under the gun and Paul Volpe called in the cutoff, as did James Calderaro on the button. Daniel Bedson then put in his last 40,000 in the big blind, and Derecho potted to 185,000 to chase away Volpe and Calderaro.

Derecho was ahead with his queens, and Bedson found no help on the 6♦4♦2♣10♣3♥ board. "I'm going to go spend it on roulette, see if I can spin it up to $1.3 million," Bedson said as he headed off to collect his payout.
"If you win $1.3 million in roulette, dinner is on you," tablemate Loren Klein told him.
Jim Collopy moved all in for 31,000 from the hijack, and Jordan Polk called without looking at his cards in the big blind.

Joe Cada limped from middle position and Josh Reichard made it 33,000 to go on the button. Action folded back to Cada, who announced a pot-sized raise to 114,000. Reichard called.
Cada quicky moved all in on the A♥K♥6♠ flop and Reichard verified the amount and tanked a bit before sending his cards into the muck.
Around 200,000 was in the middle as Daniel Negreanu and Dustin Nelson went to a flop of 9♠Q♥8♦. Negreanu then moved all in from the cutoff, and Nelson called for his last 74,000 on the button.

"I have two backdoors, and a queen," Negreanu said as they turned over their cards, but he couldn't connect with the J♠J♣ turn and river, and Nelson doubled up.
Kristen Foxen took her seat at this table as this hand was in progress, joining a stacked lineup that also includes not only Negreanu but also Josh Arieh and Dylan Weisman.
Kartik Ved raised to 35,000 in middle position and Jesse Lonis three-bet to 115,000 in the small blind. Ved called, and they saw a flop of A♥K♠7♣.
Lonis then bet 100,000, and Ved called. The turn was the A♠ and Lonis moved all in. Ved called for his last 85,000 and showed A♣Q♠10♣2♦ for trips, but Lonis had a full house with K♥K♣Q♥9♣.
The K♦ river improved Lonis to quads, and Ved was sent to the payout desk. Lonis, meanwhile, stacked up his chips in a triangle formation. "You don't count?" tablemate Sascha Wilhelm asked him.
"I count when I need to," Lonis replied.
Aaron Katz raised the pot to 20,000 from hijack and Gruffudd Pugh-Jones on the button called.
Katz continued with 25,000 on the 10♦J♣8♣ flop and Pugh-Jones tagged along leading them to the turn.
Both players checked through the 6♦ turn and the 8♦ river.
Katz tabled A♣K♣J♥7♠ for a pair while Pugh-Jones turned over K♥J♠10♣7♥ for a two pair.
Esther Taylor raised on the button and was three-bet by Toby Joyce in the big blind for enough to put Taylor all in for her last 94,000. Taylor called and a showdown was held.
