Amin Mostafavi open-shoved for 4,300,000 from the button and Daisuke Ogita in the big blind called taking them to showdown.

Ogita was hoping to hit his overcards on the board but the flop showed Q77. Mostavi was stlll intently looking at the board hoping to fade two more streets which fell 3 for the turn and A for the river.

Ogita, disappointed that the cards dealt were not the overcards he sought, matched Mostafavi's stack, doubling him up.

Blagg Scoops a Hefty Pot

Action was picked up with three players on a pot of 3,000,000 when the dealer flopped J2Q.

After a check, Matthew Blagg under the gun fired 600,000 pushing Nagy Laszlo in late position out of the pot. Ohad Enzel in the big blind called.

The turn produced K. Enzel checked once again prompting Blagg to fire another 1,600,000. With a bet half his stack, Enzel opted to concede both his hand and the huge pot to Blagg.

Savara Saved on the River

Arun Savara opened to 800,000 from the small blind and Jacqueline Rosen moved in a stack of 100,000 chips to cover Savara from the big blind. Savara called quickly and the pair headed to showdown.

The 743 flop didn't give Savara much to work with, and neither did the 8 turn.

Savara lucked out on the J river, which saved him from being eliminated from the tournament and edged him closer to being one of the last 100 remaining players.

Bagocius Busts Czarnecki

James Czarnecki was already all in and at risk for their last 3,000,000 from the big blind. They were covered by Mantas Bagocius in a middle position.

Czarneck was behind and that remained the same after being dealt the Q2J flop. Things got worse for him on the 10 turn, as Bagocius picked up the set.

Both missed on the 4 river, and Czarnecki hit the rail.

Peter Brown check-raised to 1,700,000.

Blindar spent some time in the tank, before emerging with a reraise to 4,500,000.

Brown went into an extended tank of his own before sliding his cards into the muck.

Nguyen Wins, Lowery Out

Phillip Lowery in the big blind and My Nguyen in middle position had already built a pot of 1,400,000 when the flop dropped 8Q2. After action was checked to him, Nguyen fired 375,000. Lowery got a whole tower of chips and pushed it in with the intent of raising but the total worth of the chips were only 525,000 which was not a legal raise.

The floor was called to make a ruling and it was ruled a call but a second opinion was asked. The final ruling was that it was just a call.

The hand continued with a 2 turn. Lowery fired 1,000,000 prompting Nguyen to shove all-in for 5,500,000. Lowery covered made the call.

Lowery hit top pair but couldn't beat Nguyens rockets. The dealer completed the board with a 7. Lowery left the table as Nguyen scooped the pot.
