Jacobs' outs increased with a flush draw when the flop came 3♥8♦4♥. He got an A♠ on the turn that pushed him ahead. On the river 2♣, He beat his chest in celebration after securing the double-up. After scooping the pot, he carefully returned his Spider-Man card protector to its usual spot and settled back into his seat.

Junichi Murakami on the button shoved for 1,225,000, and Daniele Miniello in the big blind called, taking them to showdown.

Murakami had Miniello dominated when the flop came K♠Q♠J♥. Murakami's lead was cemented with two pair and was looking at a potential double-up when the 2♦ turn fell.
The river 2♠ secured his double-up so he could continue further in the tournament.

Rajagopal Sankaranarayanan limped from the small blind, and Michael Starek checked. The board arrived with 7♥K♦5♠, and Sankaranarayanan bet 200,000, and Starek called.
Both players checked the turn 2♥ and the river 10♣.
Sankaranarayanan turned over 4♠2♠ for a pair of deuces, and Starek flipped over A♠7♣ for a pair of sevens.
Starek stated, "Write that small blind spins 3,200,000 into a victory."

Both Murakami and Ong got on their feet as they watched the flop show J♦9♥10♣. Ong was pushed into the lead with a flopped straight, making Murakami visibly disheartened. Ready to leave, the turn fell 8♣, giving Murakami a set that was still behind Ong's made hand.
The whole table erupted with a loud "Oh!" when the river 9♠ fell, securing Murakami a double-up with a full house and leaving Ong with crumbs.
Ong was eliminated soon after.
Seen joining Ong heading to the payout counter were Zijing Cheng and Mark Leslie.
