Final Level

Level 37 : Blinds 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante

The WSOP floor has decided that Level 37 will be the final level of play for the evening, rather than Level 39 as was original planned.

The remaining players will bag up and return for Day 3 tomorrow, with start time to be confirmed in due course.

Da Silva Caught Speeding

Level 36 : Blinds 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante

Action folded to Ryan Hull on the button, who took quite some time to come to a decision. Eventually, he landed on a raise to 2,200,000.

Marcos Da Silva, on his left, also went into a tank when pondering his options. He counted out his chip stack, before sliding forward a three-bet to 4,800,000.

Big blind David Hirst thought for quite some time before folding, but Hull wasn't getting rid of his cards any time soon. He moved all in for 15,700,000. Da Silva snap-folded.

Duda Rivers Straight For Double-Up

Level 36 : Blinds 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante

Brenton Duda moved all in from early position, and Sumit Kumar called from the small blind.

Brenton Duda: KJ All in
Sumit Kumar: 55

The board brought a five for Kumar, and Duda stood up, but the runout was QA5109, and a straight for Duda earned him double his stack, so he sat down.

Christopher Rodriguez Eliminated in 16th Place ($12,750)

Level 36 : Blinds 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante
Christopher Rodriguez
Christopher Rodriguez

Barbara Enright and Christopher Rodriguez got it all in blind on blind, with the latter all but forced all in with less than 2,000,000 in his stack to start the hand.

Christopher Rodriguez: A5 All in
Barbara Enright: 84

The 1096 flop gave Enright a straight draw, then she took the lead on the 8 turn. The A river seemed like a gin card for Rodriguez, but Enright had made her flush to send a third opponent home in just two hands.

Callahan More than Triples

Level 36 : Blinds 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante

Emma Stevenson raised to 2,000,000 from early position. Michael Callahan called all in for 1,800,000 two seats down, before Kenneth Baime moved all in from the small blind. Stevenson made the fold.

Michael Callahan: QJ All in
Kenneth Baime AK

The 64Q flop came good for Callahan, as he took the lead. The 10 turn was the sweatiest in the deck, but Callahan held on the 8 river to get a massive double.
