Liu All But Committed

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

On a four-handed table, Xing He limped in first to act, and Yuhong Liu raised to 225,000 on the button. The blinds got out of the way, and He called.

The dealer spread a A6K flop, and He checked over to Liu, who immediately announced pot, betting 575,000. That bet left Liu with just 85,000 behind, and, after He took note of that, he released his cards to the dealer.

Wang Soaring Despite Late Arrival

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

For the first 30 minutes of the day, Joshua Wang's seat had remained empty. Since sitting down, however, he has been accumulating chips.

In his latest hand, Robert Mizrachi raised to 150,000 under the gun, and Wang defended his big blind. He then check-called Mizrachi's continuation-bet of 125,000 on the QQ5 flop, after which the 4 turn and 3 river were checked to showdown.

Wang showed AJJ8 for a flush, and Mizrachi added his cards to the muck in defeat.

Soverel Coolered Out

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Sam Soverel
Sam Soverel

In the final hand of the previous level, Sam Soverel raised to 140,000 under the gun, and Krasimir Yankov called in the big blind.

Yankov led out for pot on a 810J flop, betting 340,000. Soverel responded by moving all in for 485,000, and Yankov wasted no time calling.

Krasimir Yankov: Q964

Both players had flopped a straight, but crucially Yankov had the higher end of it.

There was no relief for Soverel on the A turn or 3 river, and he was eliminated in 14th place.

No Moore Chips

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Jack Moore
Jack Moore

Jack Moore made it 140,000 to go in the cutoff. It folded to Biao Ding in the big blind, who called after some thought.

The duo checked through the 2KQ flop, prompting Ding to bet 340,000 on the 3 turn. Moore moved all in for about 110,000 more, and Ding quickly called.

Biao Ding: AK42

Ding had the higher two pair, and while the A river improved both players, Ding's aces and kings were the best hand when all was said and done.

Moore said his goodbyes to his former tablemates, while Ding crossed the five-million mark by knocking him out.

Vogele Piles on the Pressure

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

With around 400,000 in the pot and a board dealt to a 968AA river, Octavian Vogele checked in the big blind, sending the action over to Jack Moore on the button, who bet 210,000. Vogele responded with a check-raise all in, asking Moore to call off for his tournament life.

Moore spent several minutes in the tank before another player at the table called the clock. As his allowed 30 seconds ticked down to zero, his hand was announced dead, and he returned his cards to the dealer.

Vieth Folds Out Vitch

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Christopher Vitch raised to 140,000 under the gun, and Mason Vieth called in the big blind.

Vieth didn't hang around to see what Vitch wanted to do on the 87J flop, instead leading out for 340,000. Vitch spent some time mulling it over, but after a quick look back at his cards, he chose to fold.

Cowen and Livingston Leave

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Alex Livingston
Alex Livingston

Alex Livingston committed the majority of his stack with a raise to 140,000 in the cutoff. Octavian Vogele called on the button before Biao Ding three-bet to 600,000 from the small blind.

Livingston called off his remaining 100,000 or so, while Vogele quickly got out of the way.

Biao Ding: AQ86

Ding flopped top pair on 5Q10. The 3 turn changed nothing, and the Q river upgraded Ding to trip queens to officially send Livingston to the exit.

Slightly earlier, Robert Cowen was eliminated at another table.

River Improves Pujani

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Alnoor Pujani limped in on the button, which tempted Andreas Hagen to do the same from the small blind before Joshua Wang checked in the big blind.

Hagen opted to lead out from the small blind, betting 70,000 on a 3210 flop. Wang folded, but Pujani stuck around. It was the same sequence on the 2 turn, as Hagen fired 95,000 into the pot, and Pujani called again.

Both players checked on the K river, and, after Hagen announced he had pocket queens, Pujani tabled KJ106 to claim the pot with kings-up.

Soverel Short After Calling Yankov's Nuts

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Sam Soverel

Heads up to the 659 flop, Krasimir Yankov bet 75,000 from the small blind, and Sam Soverel called in the big blind. Yankov sized up to 275,000 on the A turn, which Soverel also called.

Yankov then completed his triple-barrel by firing 675,000 on the 3 river. Soverel spent some minutes in the tank, but ultimately called.

"I've got it," Yankov stated before he tabled 8775 for the nut straight. Soverel added his cards to the muck, being left with roughly ten big blinds.
