Brian Yoon

Seven Card Stud

Brian Yoon: Q8/Q923/5All in
Alexander Kostritsyn: KK/2A6J/6
Jeremy Ausmus: XxXx/A610 - folded on fifth street

Three ways on fourth street, Brian Yoon bet and was called by Alexander Kostritsyn and Jeremy Ausmus.

Yoon bet his last 20,000 on fifth street and Kostritsyn raised. Ausmus got out of the way and boards were run.

Yoon held split queens, but was well behind the buried kings of Kostritsyn. Yoon's board failed to improve him and he was eliminated, while Kostritsyn's stack grew to nearly four million.

Carol Fuchs Eliminated in 23rd Place ($50,340)

Level 18
Carol Fuchs
Carol Fuchs

Omaha Hi-Lo

Carol Fuchs raised and Arthur Morris called in the small blind, as did Matthew Beinner in the big blind after short consideration. On the KJ4 flop, all three players checked before Morris bet the 3 turn. Beinner folded and Fuchs called with fewer than a full bet behind.

Morris then also bet the 4 river and Fuchs reluctantly called.

Morris announced king-jack and showed his KQJ10. Fuchs was second-best holding the AJ72 to bow out as the first player in the money. Prior to the call, she had said there were too many chips already committed.

Engel check-called a bet on sixth before seventh checked through. "You win," Engel announced as Foxen showed 9x5x4x in the hole, and his nine-five was enough for the win.

Hui Eliminated by Zhu on the Money Bubble

Level 18
Phillip Hui
Phillip Hui

Razz

Phillip Hui: 2x5x / 7x5x2x9x / 8x All in
Yueqi Zhu: 3x7x / 5x6x9x8x / 10x

With one dead deuce already gone, Phillip Hui was all-in on third street for the last 95,000 and called by Yueqi Zhu. Heading into the showdown, Hui had a marginal lead with seven-five-deuce but proceeded to pair his five and deuce on the next two streets. Once he received a nine on sixth street, it was all over as Zhu had an already unbeatable eight-seven. That spelled the end for Hui on the money bubble.

It took 24 hands during hand-for-hand mode to lose two players, and everyone has now guaranteed at least $50,340 for the efforts.

Alex Foxen raised and was called by Maxx Coleman in the cutoff as well as Ari Engel in the big blind. On the 843 flop, only Engel check-called a bet by Coleman and then check-folded the J turn to another bet.

"You look like Thor," Ali Eslami told Foxen who had briefly stood up from his chair.

"You look like the villain in every Thor movie," Shaun Deeb replied towards Eslami and the entire table chuckled.
