Second Break of the Day

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

The tournament screens show 135 players remaining, which means almost 30 players were sent to the rail once the money bubble has burst. All other hopefuls are now enjoying 15 minutes away from the table and the T$100 chips will be raced off.

Another Double Knockout

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Eddy Sabat raised to 4,800 and saw two short stacks shove behind him in Kenneth Fusca with {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and Huey Hulin with the {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}. Sabat had the far biggest stack of the trio and quickly called with {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and the queens held up to reduce the field by two.

One hand later, the small blind shoved into the big blind of Dylan Linde, who called all in for 32,800 with {A-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}. His opponent only had {5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and the board came {Q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{A-Spades} to let Linde double.

Liberto Busts Two

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Short stack James Hughes shoved for his last two big blinds and Justin Liberto pushed from the small blind to see Reinaldo Troconis also call it off with a short stack.

James Hughes: {9-Spades}{8-Hearts}
Reinaldo Troconis: {10-Spades}{7-Spades}
Justin Liberto: {J-Clubs}{7-Hearts}

On the {10-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop, Troconis cheered and said "stay low" while the {K-Clubs} turn gave Liberto a flush draw. Instead, it was the {J-Spades} river that iomproved Liberto to knock out two opponents.

Ohayon and Luo Eliminated

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Among the first to bust after the money bubble had burst were Ronen Ohayon and Chang Luo. Ohayon's cards were already in the muck and Ismael Bojang scooped the pot. Ohayon initially celebrated with pocket fives before realizing that Bojang had completed a backdoor flush with {K-Spades}{J-Spades}.

Chang Luo was also sent to the rail after a three-way all in with Jiri Horak and Patrick Jukic. Luo had {A-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and Horak {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}, while Jukic rolled over {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}. The board came {K-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{9-Spades}{6-Hearts} and that was it for Luo.

The Money Bubble has Burst

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante
Linglin Zeng
Linglin Zeng

With two Eliminations as the tournament went into hand-for-hand play, everyone is now in the money and guaranteed a minimum of $3,758.

In the first hand, Tony Armand was under the gun and pushed in his remaining 1,800 chips. Michael Leibgorin in the hijack called as did the small blind and Luke Graham in the big blind all called 2,400. This created a side pot and Armand was all in for the main.

The flop was {3-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and all players checked to the turn which was the {7-Hearts}. Graham led out for 5,000 and was called by Leibgorin.

The river was the {3-Diamonds} and Graham fired out a bet of 7,000 and Leibgorin mucked. Graham tabled {3-Clubs}{10-Hearts} for a full house and Armand showed {8-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} for ten-high and was the last elimination before the bubble.

As dealers all stood waiting, a massive pot was brewing on the last table still with a hand in play. Josep Maria Galindo Lopez raised to 6,800 in late position. Linglin Zeng was in the big blind and three-bet to 13,000. Lopez moved all in for roughly 109,000. Zeng tanked for several minutes before she called putting Lopez at risk on the stone cold bubble. Zeng's stack was at roughly 200,000 to start the hand.

Zeng tabled {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} and Lopez showed {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {k-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{10-Clubs} {q-Spades} {8-Clubs} and Zeng out-ran Lopez to take down the hand and put everyone remaining in the money.

Here's the previous hand with Lopez and Zeng.

Plenty of Stalling; Hand-For-Hand Kicks In

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Among many short stacks just before the money bubble is also Adrian Mateos, who has been warned once and had the clock called on him. Just now, Mateos faced a raise from early position and tank-folded in the small blind.

At the same time, another player was eliminated on a different table and hand-for-hand mode will commence after the end of the current hand.

Khoury Survives and Chops with Zeng

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Mazin Khoury shoved for his last 17,700 from under the gun and Josep Maria Galindo Lopez called in the cutoff. Linglin Zeng three-bet big from the button to force out the Spaniard, who mucked {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades} face up.

Khoury showed {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} and Zeng had the {A-Spades}{K-Spades}. The {A-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Hearts} flop provided the ace, while Galineo Lopez would have turned a set if he stayed in with the {10-Hearts} showing up. Khoury had a flush draw to triple up, but the {9-Diamonds} river instead resulted in a split pot.
