Pergola Perishes to Hata

Level 21 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Aymon Hata had check-called Joseph Pergola's bets on a {10-Spades}{6-Spades}{2-Spades}{10-Clubs} board. On the {5-Clubs} river, Hata checked once more and Pergola bet 30,500. Instead of a call this time, Hata responded to Pergola's bet with a shove. Pergola thought for a bit before calling and Hata showed {2-Clubs}{2-Hearts} for a full house. Pergola mucked and was eliminated.

As the hand was going on, Ira Marcus was also eliminated from his table.

The river was the {K-Hearts} and Richards checked. Fink bet 5,700 and Richards called.

Here are the updated chip counts for the players at tables 727 and 728.

[Removed:532] Keeps Climbing

Level 20 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Linglin Zeng opened to 3,500 from the button, Rellie Sigua called from the small blind, and [Removed:532] called from the big blind.

The flop fell {9-Spades}{6-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and all three players checked.

The turn brought the {8-Diamonds} and Sigua bet 7,500. [Removed:550] called and Zeng folded.

The {8-Clubs} river completed the board and both players checked. [Removed:550] tabled {9-Hearts}{6-Spades} for flopped top two pair that got counterfeited when the turn and river put a pair of eights on board, but it was still good enough to win the pot against Sigua's {J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}.
