Aquafina Doubles on the River

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

A big hand just played out on the feature table.

With around 7,000 in the pot and the flop showing {9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} Kunphen Dadul bet 3,000 from the hijack before Mark Aquafina moved all in for 19,200 from the cutoff. Kim Liv then moved all in for his remaining 6,700. Dadul thought for a minute and called.

Mark Aquafina: {j-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Kunphen Dadul: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}
Kim Liv: {j-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

Dadul had the lead with aces until the turn brought the {9-Hearts} giving Liv the lead with trip nines. The {k-Hearts} dropped on the river to award Aquafina the win with a straight sending Liv to rail and crippling Dadul down to below starting stack

Kapoor Scores Double Knockout

Level 8 : 400/800, 100 ante

The action started with the player under the gun raising to 2,400. Akshay Kapoor was next to act and bumped it up to 6,100. The player in middle position went all in for her remaining 200 in chips as the decision fell back on the original raiser. He called.

The flop came {4-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} and both players checked.

The turn brought the {9-Spades} and the first player checked. Kapoor bet 7,000. He was called.

The {a-Hearts} completed the board and the first player moved all in for 11,000 almost immediately.

"You have ace-king?" asked Kapoor, before he made the call having his opponent just covered.

Kapoor then watched as his opponent tabled {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs} for two-pair before he flipped over {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds} for a full house and the winning hand.

The other all in player had {7-Spades}{7-Clubs} and she was sent to the rail as well.

Blight Doubles Up

Level 7 : 300/600, 50 ante
Craig Blight
Craig Blight

Craig Blight is no stranger to the WSOP circuit. He's already earned a circuit ring when he captured the A$550 NLHE - Masters Tournament (Re-Entry) 50+ years at last year's series.

In a recent hand, the player under the gun plus one raised to 1,300 before Blight moved all in for 9,075. The action folded back around to the original raiser, who thought for a minute, then called.

Craig Blight: {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}
Opponent: {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}

The board ran out {9-Spades}{k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{q-Diamonds} to see Blight hold with his higher pocket pair awarding him the pot.

The {j-Spades} completed the board and Jarvin tossed out 8,000. His opponent deliberated for a moment and called.

O'Grady Gets Short; Eliminated

Level 7 : 300/600, 50 ante
Michael O'Grady
Michael O'Grady

Michael O'Grady raised to 1,400 from middle position before the player on the button re-raised to 3,000. He called.

The flop came {3-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and O'Grady checked. His opponent then swiftly moved all in for 9,050. O'Grady mucked shortly after.

O'Grady was left with just over 6,000 in chips and would commit it all in a few hands later with {a-}{k-} and come up against his opponent's {k-}{q-}

The {a-}{9-}{10-} flop was good for O'Grady but the {j-} on the turn would see his opponent make a straight.

The {2-} would not help O'Grady on the river sending him to the rail.

Lee Doubles Through O'Brien

Level 7 : 300/600, 50 ante

Daniel O'Brien just filled in the media team on how he doubled up Hannah Lee just before the break.

O'Brien held {a-Spades}{4-Spades} and Lee had {k-}{k-}

There was betting throughout the hand as the board ran out {k-Spades}{10-Spades}{3-Spades}7c]{10-} with all the money going in on the river.

Lee's rivered full house was victorious over O'Brien's flopped nut-flush.
