Breathe Isaia Relief, It's All Over
Alessio Isaia is a goner. With mere shrapnel remaining of his once-proud stack, he raised and then called all in to a reraise from Istvan Novak. Andreas Hoivold decided to come along for the ride as well.
The board came down , and Novak and Hoivold were content to check it down all the way to the river. Novak threw down pocket , Hoivold mucked, and Isaia picked up his coat and left.
The Fish Drowns
Jason Gray, Dave Ulliott and Gary Jones are all in a hand. Gray started out as the early aggressor, with the other two tagging along, but he dropped out on sixth street. Jones took up the mantle of the aggressor but couldn't shake off The Devilfish.
By the time seventh street had been dealt, Ulliott's board read and Jones' read .
Both players checked and Jones announced, "Ace high," and revealed x and he was very surprised when Ulliott mucked.
Jones is on 16,2000 now, whereas Ulliott went down to just 1,000.
This all went in on the next hand, and Dave "Devilfish" Ulliott was eliminated.
