It's Not Over Yet for Ferguson

Omaha-8:

Chris Ferguson is clawing his way back into the running.

Mark Gregorich and John Kabbaj in the blinds both checked a {9-Clubs} {J-Clubs} {7-Diamonds} flop to Ferguson, who bet from the button and took it down without any further fuss.

Ferguson seems to be making quite a serious comeback, having clawed his way from just 850 a little while ago to around 4,600 now.

Three Way to the River

Omaha-8:

There was betting action just after the turn had been dealt but all three players involved stayed to see the river giving us a {2-Diamonds} {8-Clubs} {4-Clubs} {10-Spades} {J-Hearts} board.

David Williams led out for a bet and both David Benyamine and Barny Boatman called.

Williams had {8-Spades} {7-Spades} {A-Diamonds} {5-Spades}.
Benyamine had {6-Hearts} {5-Diamonds} {A-Clubs} {3-Hearts}.
Boatman had {Q-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds} {K-Clubs} {6-Diamonds}.

Williams the aggressor is the only one left without chips from this pot as Benyamine and Boatman chop it up.

Hold'em:

Things haven't been going so well for Chris Ferguson of late. Down to just 850 after losing a big hold'em pot to Patrik Antonius, who was holding pocket jacks on a raggy board, Chris raised the very next hand and then called all in to a reraise from Mark Gregorich. Under the circumstances no one was expecting him actually to have a premium hand, but premium it was.

Ferguson: {K-Diamonds} {K-Spades}
Gregorich: {J-Diamonds} {J-Hearts}

Board: {2-Hearts} {3-Spades} {4-Spades} {4-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds}

Ferguson enjoys a micro double-up to 1,700.

Paddling Water

Don't be too glum, you're moving the right way now
Don't be too glum, you're moving the right way now
Omaha-8:

Allen Cunningham raises from early position and finds calls from Dave Ulliott, Jeff Lisandro on the button, and David Levi on the big blind.

The flop comes {7-Clubs} {3-Spades} {9-Spades} and Cunningham continues his aggression by betting, only to be raised by Ulliott. Lisandro calls, Levi passes, and Cunningham calls before the turn comes {J-Diamonds}.

This slows them all down as they check it before we see the river {6-Clubs}. Ulliott bets 800 and only Cunningham calls, but he mucks upon seeing Ulliott's {6-Spades} {9-Hearts} {A-Spades} {2-Clubs}. Ulliott's nut low and two pair is good enough to scoop and put him on 9,300.

Serious Business

Tony Bloom has been moved next to Mike Matusow, and has been enjoying a very thorough massage since he arrived at the table. He seems to be entering a new phase of said massage, though, which for some reason involves him removing his watch, his gold chain, and any other metals and shiny things he may be wearing and tucking them in his top pocket for safekeeping. Let's hope he doesn't feel the need to remove anything else.

Donev Doubles Through Hansen

Razz:

Austrian pro and WSOP bracelet winner Ivo Donev has just managed to double up through Gus Hansen, and he'll cherish the moment forever courtesy of modern technology.

Playing razz, Donev was all in before seventh street was dealt and stood up from the table to pull a camera out of his coat pocket to take a picture of the cards on the table.

Donev ultimately emerged victorious, taking down the pot with an {A-?}{2-?}{3-?}{4-?}{6-?} low, besting Gus' {2-?}{3-?}{4-?}{6-?}{K-?}. Following the hand, Donev stacked up approximately 8,000 in chips.
