Boeree Falling

Nicolas Cieutat opened with a 2,600 raise only to have Liv Boeree three-bet to 6,000 from the big blind. Cieutat called and the flop brought {k-Spades}{2-Hearts}{10-Spades}.

Boeree continued for 7,300 and Cieutat called. They both checked the {4-Spades} on turn as well as the {3-Clubs} on the river. After Cieutat checked on the river, Boeree flung her cards to the muck without turning them over. Cieutat showed {A-Hearts}{10-Clubs} for a pair of tens and was pushed the pot.

River Raise Wins For Kuether

With the board reading {K-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{2-Spades}, we found Joe Kuether heads up in a pot. His opponent bet 6,500 and Kuether flat called. The {5-Spades} fell on the river and Kuether's opponent bet out 16,000.

Kuether sat thinking for about a minute before reaching for chips and moving out a raise to 37,500. His opponent released and Kuether took down the pot.

Just a Jack?

Phil Hellmuth
Phil Hellmuth

"I'm raising every hand! I'm not folding to three-bets!" Phil Hellmuth just said after beating Andrey Gulyy in a pot. Hellmuth has had an amazing day so far, and his stack is right around 300,000.

Hellmuth raised to 4,000 from middle position after which Gulyy three-bet to 10,500. Hellmuth called right away, and the flop brought out {5-Spades}{4-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}.

Hellmuth checked quickly and Gulyy threw out 8,000. The 12-time WSOP bracelet winner quickly check-raised to 16,000 and Gulyy called.

"They always underestimate me," Hellmuth said before the turn brought out the {10-Hearts}.

"Oh that's so sick. I had him on nines or tens," Hellmuth added, as he quickly checked to Gulyy. The Russian pro checked behind. On the river the {7-Hearts} showed up and Hellmuth casually threw out 9,000. Gulyy called.

"Just a jack," Hellmuth said, but Gulyy waited for him to turn his cards over. Hellmuth showed {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts}, and jaws dropped.

"You have a flush!" Kristijonas Andrulis laughed, as did everyone else besides Gulyy.

"Oh shoot! I thought I had queen-jack off" Hellmuth added as Gulyy frustradely mucked his cards.

"What a slowroll!" Andrulis added as Hellmuth apologized for misreading his hand. Gulyy was left behind short while Hellmuth is one of the chip leaders.

Epp's Pair of Tens Beats Julius' Sevens

Action folded to Max Silver on the button, and he raised to 2,500. In the small blind, Kyle Julius called. Gillian Epp called from the big blind, and the flop came down {10-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}. Action checked over to Silver, and he fired 4,200. After Julius made the call, Epp raised to 10,200. Silver folded, but Julius called.

The turn was the {4-Spades} to pair the board. Julius checked, and Epp checked. The river then completed the board with the {3-Clubs}, and Julius checked. Epp checked behind.

Julius showed the {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}, but Epp's {Q-Spades}{10-Clubs} was better and she won the pot.

Barbara Martinez raised under the gun to 3,300 and Timothy Adams three-bet to 6,800. He was directly to her left, and they ended up heads up on the flop.

The flop came down {6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} and Martinez check-called 7,200.

On the turn the {4-Hearts} hit and this time Martinez check-called 13,200.

The board was completed with the {A-Diamonds} and Martinez checked once more. Adams calmly announced he was all in, and Martinez sighed as she folded her hand.
