A Pot for Farber

Level 4 : 150/300, 50 ante

Sidney Farber is seated at the same table as Ryan Hughes and the new arrival in the Czech Republic, Kevin MacPhee.

Farber raised to 525 from the cutoff and action folded to the player in the big blind who called.

The flop came {4-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}, the big blind check-called the 1,050 bet of Farber.

They both checked through the {6-Clubs} on the turn. The {4-Spades} completed the board, now the player in the big blind bet 1,200 and Farber tried to decide what to do.

"I think you've got a better hand but I'm not good enough to not call." Farber said while throwing the chips in for a call. Farber showed {A-Clubs}{2-Spades} for top pair and that was good enough for his opponent to muck his hand.
