Break with 28 Remaining

Vyacheslav Stoyanov suffers massive setback
Vyacheslav Stoyanov suffers massive setback

Vyacheslav Stoyanov raised and tank-called the three-bet shove of Ronald Keijzer for 79,700 to set up the biggest pot of the tournament so far.

Ronald Keijzer: {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Vyacheslav Stoyanov: {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}

The board came {Q-Spades}{9-Hearts}{7-Spades}{8-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and Keijzer hit a runner runner flush to crack the flopped set of Stoyanov. Right after, all 28 remaining players headed into a 20-minute break. Kai Münster and Petro Popovych can take a longer break, though, after they busted before the break still.

Münster check-called a jack-high flop and check-shoved the turn with {Q-}{J-} for top pair, Pedro Oliveira snap-called with pocket sevens for middle set and that was it for Münster.

A Chop and a Double on the Bubble

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Ronald Keijzer raised to 5,800 and called the shove of Lukas Klima for 26,500. Keijzer turned over {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} and Klima had the {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}, there was no sweat on the board {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}.

Three players limped in including Kadir Uzunoglu, Cheng Ching-Weng and Patrick Schuhl on the button. Roman Volk pushed from the small blind for 22,800 and it folded back to Schuhl. "You want to gamble?" the Frenchman asked and Volk shook his head. "Maybe I want to gamble," Schuhl continued and called shortly after.

Roman Volk: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Patrick Schuhl: {J-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

The board came {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{10-Spades} and Volk doubled with a full house.

Schuhl Builds Stack on the Bubble

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

On the four-way turn of {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}, Patrick Schuhl bet 5,000 and picked up a call by Petro Popovyh, a fold from Cheng Ching-Weng and a call by Michal Mrakes. The trio checked the {9-Clubs} on the river and Mrakes was the first to show after the button, turning over {A-Spades}{10-Spades}. Schuhl had that beat with {A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and Popovych mucked.

Big Stack Action on the Bubble

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Pietro Errante and Jeff Cormier tangled in a pot that reached up to 50,000 until the {10-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts}{K-Spades} river and Cormier checked behind to see Errante turn over {9-Hearts}{9-Spades} for a flush. "Sick river," Cormier sighed and briefly flashed {5-Spades}{2-Spades} for the flopped flush that was no good anymore.

Fahir Han and Vyacheslav Stoyanov got into a big stack versus big stack battle as well and Stoyanov defended his big blind to a raise by Han. After check-calling the {A-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Spades} flop and checking through the {8-Clubs} turn, Stoyanov bet the {3-Hearts} river for 23,000. Han sighed and folded, then said "too much, if you bet 15,000 I call."

Hand-for-Hand Play Underway

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Pedro Oliveira pushed his stack back up while one more hand was played, and it turned out to be a big one. Thorsten Böhringer and Michal Mrakes clashed and the former was all in after the turn of a board {J-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{9-Spades}{3-Clubs}. Böhringer showed {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and Mrakes had pocket sevens, the {6-Diamonds} on the river was a blank.

Play will now continue hand-for-hand with two minutes per hand being deducted on the money bubble.

Another Two Eliminated

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Cheng Ching-Weng sent an opponent to the rail after winning a flip with {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} versus {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} on the board of {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{3-Spades}{Q-Spades}{6-Spades}.

Moments later, Karel Chaloupka ran with {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} into the {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades} of Jean-Noel Thorel and the field was reduced to the last 33.

One bigger pot was played still as Vyacheslav Stoyanov raised to 4,500 and picked up calls by Rui Figueredo and Pedro Oliveira. On the {10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop the action checked to Stoyanov and he bet 9,000. Only Oliveira called and checked again the {8-Clubs} turn which prompted the shove of Stoyanov for more than 75,000. Oliveira spent minutes in the think tank and folded.
