Mustafov Takes Over The Chip Lead

Level 7 : 300/600, 100 ante
Fahredin Mustafov
Fahredin Mustafov

Fahredin Mustafov raised to 1,400 from early position and was called by the player on the button.

The flop came {K-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}, Mustafov check-called the 1,800 bet of his opponent.

They both checked through the {J-Clubs} on the turn. The {3-Hearts} on the river completed the board, now Mustafov bet 4,000 without hesitation. His opponent called. Mustafov showed {A-Spades}{Q-Spades} for top pair, his opponent showed {A-Hearts}{10-Clubs} for the same pair of aces but with the lower kicker.

Neurauter Eliminates Magalashvili

Level 6 : 250/500, 75 ante
Michael Magalashvili
Michael Magalashvili

The player in mid-position raised to 1,100 and the player in the late position called. Michael Magalashvili, on the button, shoved all in. Hannes Neurauter, in the small blind also went all in. The player in the big blind was thinking for a long time but eventually folded. The other two players folded immediately.

Hannes Neurauter: {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}
Michael Magalashvili: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}

The board ran out {9-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{A-Spades}{2-Hearts}{8-Spades} - no help for Magalashvili as Neurauter hit a set of aces on the flop and he was eliminated. He did say he was probably going to reenter again as the registration and reentry period is still open.

Sameeian Eliminated

Level 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

The board read {8-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and the player in the small blind bet 5,500. Ali Sameeian shoved and his opponent called. Sameeian showed {8-Hearts}{7-Clubs} for a pair of eights but his opponent had the upper hand with the {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} for top pair with the jacks.

Sameeian needed some help to not get eliminated. The turn brought them the {5-Diamonds} and the river the {Q-Hearts} which were not the cards he needed. Sameeian got up from the table and made his way out of the tournament area.

Cohen At It Again

Level 6 : 250/500, 75 ante
Yehuda Cohen
Yehuda Cohen

The owner of next door's massage parlor Chikkita, Yehuda Cohen, is sitting behind one of the bigger stacks in the room and up to his traditional antics. After raising to 1,225 in middle position — accompanied by his usual "I never fold" — Cohen received calls from both players in the blinds.

On the {10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop, the big blind led out 3,000 and only Cohen stuck around. On the {J-Hearts} turn, the big blind checked, Cohen bet 3,000 and the big blind called with 10,000 behind. The river was the {K-Clubs} and Cohen moved all in.

The big blind folded and begged Cohen to show. Succumbing to the peer pressure after several requests, "ChiKKita BanAAna" showed {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} and raked in the pot.

Kuznik's Queen is Best

Level 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

On a {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} board, Grzegorz Grochulski had 2,300 in front of him and Yaron Kuznik had raised to 33,000, leaving himself with just 3,500 behind. Grochulski took quite some time before moving all in and Kuznik called right away.

Yaron Kuznik: {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}
Grzegorz Grochulski: {Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs}

Despite having the better kicker, Kuznik was sweating it. The {A-Diamonds} on the turn prompted a cheer from Kuznik, who was visibly relieved. After the {3-Hearts} on the river, Kuznik started stacking the big pot.
