Sammartino Wants More From Sontheimer

Level 5 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Dario Sammartino
Dario Sammartino

Timothy Adams, Steffen Sontheimer and Dario Sammartino saw the flop for 12,000 each.

Adams was first to act and he checked the {j-Hearts}{7-Spades}{6-Hearts} flop. Sontheimer bet 16,000 and Sammartino called on the button before Adams folded.

The turn was the {9-Hearts} and both players checked. The river was the {2-Hearts} and Sontheimer checked before Sammartino bet 60,000.

Sontheimer quickly tossed in a chip to call. Sammartino motioned to him to put more in the pot, indicating he was going to win and then showed {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts} for a flush.

Sontheimer mucked and paid the remainder of the bet.

Zinno Hates the Flop

Level 6 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

After a raise to an unknown amount and a call from Ben Maya on the button — both had a T25,000 chip on the felt — Anthony Zinno made it 66,000 to go in the big blind. The opener mucked but Maya stuck around. The dealer spread an {a-Spades}{4-Spades}{j-Spades} flop and Zinno checked. Maya put him all in for just over 200,000 and Zinno mucked {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} face up.

Aido's Top Pair Good

Level 6 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Orpen Kisacikoglu bet 18,000 on a {3-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop when checked to by two players, and Sergio Aido put in a raise to 50,000 out of the big blind. The squeezed player ditched his cards, but Kisacikoglu stuck around. Both checked the {9-Spades} and {5-Spades} and Aido opened {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for flopped top pair. It was good.

Ramos Ships on Petrangelo

Level 6 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

We found Nick Petrangelo tanking in the small blind after it looked like he had three-bet to 40,000 and was facing a huge shove of 379,000 from Felipe Ramos, who was in the cutoff. Petrangelo thought it over a couple of minutes and then mucked.
