Coughlan Triples Up

After losing most of his stack in the previous hand, Paul Coughlan shoved all in from the hijack for 2,000 after having paid the 1,000 ante. Parker Talbot completed from the small blind and David Hudson opted to check the big blind.

The flop came {8-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and both Talbot and Hudson checked.

The turn brought them the {K-Diamonds}, Talbot bet 8,000 and Hudson folded. Talbot tabled {10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for a flush draw and Coughlan had {A-Spades}{4-Hearts} for ace-high. The {9-Clubs} on the river completed the board and ensured Coughlan's triple up and a bit more.

Mrakes had {a-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and flopped a wheel as {3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{5-Hearts} hit. He bet 14,000 and Ho check-called. On the {7-Spades} turn, Ho bet out 36,000. Mrakes made it 108,000 and Ho called. The river was the {8-Spades} and both players checked, with Mrakes taking about a minute before deciding to see a showdown.

Varnica folded but Zhang stuck around. The turn was a {9-Clubs}. Salter moved all in for 540,000, more than the size of the pot. Zhang got the count but ultimately folded.

The board ran out {10-Clubs}{A-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{Q-Spades} - they both hit a set but Ayers' set was the higher one and he doubled up.

Filatov Takes From Obreshkov

Anatoly Filatov raised to 18,000 from the cutoff and was called by Stoyan Obreshkov in the big blind.

The flop came {J-Spades}{K-Hearts}{6-Clubs}, Obreshkov check-called the 15,000 bet of Filatov.

They both checked through the {K-Clubs} on the turn. The {9-Spades} on the river completed the board and now Obreshkov fired 67,000. Filatov tanked but ended up calling. Obreshkov showed {7-Diamonds}{6-Spades} for two pair, kings and sixes, but Filatov had him beat with {Q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} for a rivered king-high straight.

"Don't do it," he said, trying to will the dealer to keep another heart from appearing.

The {k-Diamonds} hit the turn. The river: {2-Hearts}, giving Rachel a better flush. He winced at the sick runout before dragging the pot.

Liang Busted By Lehmanski

The board read {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{7-Spades} and the dealer was counting the stacks of both William Liang and Maxi Lehmanski. Liang had {3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} in front of him and Lehmanski had {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds} so Lehmanski had the better hand. After counting the stacks, the dealer confirmed Lehmanski had more and Liang had been eliminated from the tournament.
