Mathijs Jonkers is sitting behind a stack of 230,000 after busting out early yesterday on Day 1A. The Dutchman finished third in last year's Main Event at the WSOPE here in King's Resort Rozvadov.
Jonkers told the PokerNews live reporting team he just busted a player at his table holding aces.
"The player under the gun opened and another player called. The player on the hijack three-bet to 6,700 and I flatted with pocket aces from the button. The other players called and the flop was king-trey-trey.
They all checked to me and I bet 10,000. Only one player called and the turn was a complete brick. He checked to me and I bet 10,000 again. He moved all in for 30,000 and I called. The river was a trey and I won with my full house".
