Kabrhel and Deeb Chop It Up

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

The board read {6-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and there was 16,800 in the pot. Big blind Martin Kabrhel bet 10,000 and Shaun Deeb called from the under-the-gun position. Will Kassouf also called from the cutoff and they went three-way to the river.

The {2-Diamonds} river completed the board and Kabrhel fired another bullet as he put 11,900 in the middle. Deeb called, but Kassouf folded.

Kassouf opened up {K-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and Deeb took his time to inspect the hand before opening {K-Clubs}{8-Clubs} himself.

They both had the same straight and they chop up Kassouf's money.

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Fabrizio Gonzalez raised to 2,100 from under the gun and was called by Christian Bauer in the hijack, and Jessica Teusl on the button.

Paul Michaelis: {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}

Fireworks on Table #99

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

Will Kassouf and Shaun Deeb have some history already and have been seated at the same table for most of the day.

Kassouf raised to 2,500 from the cutoff and was called by Deeb in the big blind. The flop came {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{10-Hearts}, Deeb check-called the 3,200 continuation-bet of Kassouf. The turn brought them the {9-Diamonds}, now Deeb lead out for 5,500 and Kassouf folded.

After the hand, Martin Kabrhel took his seat on Deeb's right and they were both visibly not happy about it. It turned into a spat almost immediately. Kabrhel has just won Event #9: €100,000 No-Limit Hold'em King's Super High Roller for €2,624,340.

Things like "Go back to the US!", "You talk too much!" and more like that were being thrown around between them.

Kabrhel raised to 5,000 from the cutoff and Deeb three-bet to 15,500 on the button. Kabhrel shoved and Deeb grabbed some chips but before he said call, Kabrhel had already flipped over his cards. The floor was called over and Kabhrel started arguing that Deeb had made the forward motion. Deeb argued that he just grabbed some chips from his stack but didn't make the movement to put them over the line.

The floor told them to finish the hand and that she would deal with the situation after. Deeb called.

Shaun Deeb: {A-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Martin Kabrhel: {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}

The board ran out {2-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts}{9-Spades}{7-Clubs} for them to split the pot.

Kabrhel received a one-round penalty for exposing his cards too early. Kabrhel kept arguing his case with the floor and the tournament director but they stood their grounds. Kassouf tried to put his two cents forward too but was dealt with quickly.

Mazilu Gets Paid Off

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Mihail Mazilu limped from middle position and Ondrej Lon raised to 3,500. Mazilu called after the other players folded.

The flop was {4-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and Mazilu check-called another 3,500 bet to see the {6-Clubs} turn card appear. Both players checked this time and the river was the {Q-Diamonds}.

Mazilu lead out with a bet of 15,000 and Lon was hesitant to call, but eventually pushed 15,000 over the line. Mazilu showed {Q-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for a flush and Lon laughed while he opened up his {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}.
