Yifrach Doubles With Aces

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

With about 42,000 in the pot and a board reading {2-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{3-Spades} it was Gal Yifrach who was all-in for his last 25,000. Konstantinos Nanos sat on the button and thought the decision through before calling with {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}. Unfortunately for Nanos, Yilfrach was playing {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds} and he was well ahead.

The {10-Clubs} river came down and Nanos wasn't able to catch up on Yilfrach.

Peters' Set of Kings is Good

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

Tobias Peters just eliminated his opponent Slobodan Ruzicic. Peters was all-in with {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds} against the {A-Spades}{J-Spades} of Ruzicic.

The board was {10-Spades}{K-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{A-Diamonds} and the pot had about 65,000 in it when the remaining 30,000 of Ruzicic went to the middle. The river card was the {J-Clubs} and Ruzicic improved to two pair, but that was not enough to beat Peters' set of kings.
