Tran Incorrectly Hero Calls

Level 8 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

With the board completed at {8-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{2-Clubs} and around 60,000 in the middle, Duc Tuan Tran checked to Dietrich Fast, who pulled the trigger and bet enough to put Tran all in.

Tran briefly thought about it, then called it off for the remainder of his stack. Fast showed {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}, which was enough as Tran flung {8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} open in the muck.

Level 8 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Bjorn Wiesler
Bjorn Wiesler

In a preflop four-bet pot between Koray Aldemir in the small blind and Bjorn Wiesler in the under-the-gun position, the flop read {8-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{4-Clubs}. Aldemir shoved for 43,000 and Wiesler called.

Koray Aldemir: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Bjorn Wiesler: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}

They both held the overpair with Wiesler having the better one, Aldemir was searching for another ten to stay alive.

The {j-Spades} came on the turn to now give Aldemir an open-ended straight draw but he bricked the river as the {j-Diamonds} came to pair the board up.

No help for Aldemir as he made his way to the cashier to pay for his second and last bullet.

Hutchison Rivers Filatov

Level 8 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

On a {Q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} flop, Anatoly Filatov was on the button and bet 2,000. Dean Hutchison check-raised to 7,000 in the big blind, Filatov three-bet to 20,000 and Hutchison called. The {Q-Hearts} turn and {8-Diamonds} river then got checked down.

Hutchison showed {K-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for the rivered flush and Filatov frowned. He took around five seconds before flinging his hand in the muck, then said with a big grin: "If you have a flush, why don't you bet?" Hutchison didn't respond and silently stacked up the chips.

Ludovic Geilich

Gudmundur Sigurjonsson raised and Ludovic Geilich three-to 7,200 from one seat over. Sigurjonsson four-bet to 22,400 and Geilich gave it some thought before making the call.

The flop came {J-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} and Sigurjonsson continued for 27,000, which prompted the shove of Geilich and the call of the Icelander.

Ludovic Geilich: {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Gudmundur Sigurjonsson: {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}

The {2-Clubs} turn and {J-Hearts} river brought no help for Geilich and he was sent to the rail.
