Kessler Eliminates Eibinger for Good

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Allen Kessler
Allen Kessler

The action folded to Matthias Eibinger who raised it up on the button. Allen Kessler three-bet from the small blind and Eibinger four-bet shoved all in, putting his new stack of around 100,000 to work. Kessler quickly made the call and the cards were on their backs.

Allen Kessler: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Matthias Eibinger: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}

Kessler held a dominant preflop advantage and the flop of {q-Spades}{9-Spades}{9-Clubs} never changed anything. The {2-Spades} on the turn gave Kessler a bit of a sweat as Eibinger picked up a flush draw, but the {a-Hearts} on the river bricked off. This was Eibinger's second bullet of the day and he is no longer allowed to re-enter.

Bujtas Bests Netaliev

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Picking up the action in a three-bet pot and on the {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop, Laszlo Bujtas bet 17,000 out of the big blind and Oleg Netaliev called from early position. The {K-Spades} on the turn slowed down the action and both players checked, then did so again on the {7-Clubs} river. Bujtas turned over the {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts} and that was good enough to claim the pot.

Sekularac and Salter Shoot Up the Leaderboard

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Hani Bahna
Hani Bahna

A raising war broke out between Jack Salter in the cutoff and Hani Bahna on the button. The latter five-bet shoved for more than 220,000 and Salter called to create a massive pot.

Hani Bahna: {J-Clubs}{J-Spades}
Jack Salter: {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}

The {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop improved Salter to top pair, and he left Bahna with just one out on the {8-Hearts} turn. The {8-Diamonds} river was a blank and Bahna left the tournament area with a disappointed look on the face.

An even bigger pot played out one table over. Ognjen Sekularac raised to 4,400 and Duc Tuan Tran called from one seat over. Boris Kolev moved all in for 40,300 and he was called by Sekularac and Tran. The flop came {10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and Sekularac made it 25,000 to go, which prompted the shove of Tran.

Sekularac asked for a count and Tran was all in for 169,300, the call of the Serbian followed to create the biggest pot of the tournament so far.

Boris Kolev: {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}
Duc Tuan Tran: {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}
Ognjen Sekularac: {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

"Nine!" Tran demanded, and then also asked for a seven once the {6-Spades} turn gave him a gutshot. However, the wish wasn't granted as the blank {J-Hearts} river completed the board and ensured the double knockout.

Warburton Doubles Through Mandic

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Tobias Peters opened to 4,300 from early position and Goran Mandic re-raised to 13,500 in the hijack. Steven Warburton four-bet to 40,000 on the button and Peters gave it some thought before stepping aside. Mandic shipped all in and Warburton quickly called off his stack of 154,200.

Steven Warburton: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Goran Mandic: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

The flop of {8-Hearts}{5-Spades}{5-Clubs} left Warburton in the lead with his pocket kings. The {q-Spades} on the turn meant Mandic was looking for an ace only. The river was the {4-Spades} and Warburton secured himself a nice double up.

Life Doesn't Get Easier for Foxen

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

While Alex Foxen relieved his ears of the enduring pain caused by Martin Kabrhel, he now has other worries with Jan-Eric Schwippert taking the seat on his left. Schwippert is coming off a final table appearance in the €100,000 Super High Roller and will surely be a force to be reckoned with.

The two tangled early when Schwippert opened from under the gun and Foxen defended from the big blind. The flop fell {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} and Foxen check-called a bet of 4,000 from Schwippert.

The {6-Diamonds} on the turn put four diamonds on the board and both players checked to the {7-Spades} on the river. Foxen checked again and Schwippert tossed out a bet of 12,000. Foxen looked him up and Schwippert tabled {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} to drag in the pot.

Johansson Folds to Troyanovskiy

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Anton Johansson raised to 8,000 from the small blind and Vladimir Troyanovskiy defended his big blind.

The flop came down {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}, Johansson continued with a bet of 4,000 which Troyanovskiy called.

They both checked through the {5-Clubs} on the turn to the {a-Clubs} on the river. Johansson check-folded to the 8,000 bet of Troyanovskiy.
