Value for Rajkovic

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

Adi Rajkovic raised on the button and was called by Adi Raizin in the big blind. Bets of 11,000 and 16,000 followed to set up the {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{7-Spades} river and Raizin checked once more. Rajkovic now bet 45,400 and Raizin eventually tossed in a single chip for the call.

Rajkovic turned over the {A-Hearts}{9-Spades} for top pair and scooped the pot.

Aces Hold for Sinclair

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante
Jack Sinclair
Jack Sinclair

Jack Sinclair raised to 5,000 in the hijack and was called by the small and big blind. The flop fell {7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and the action checked to Sinclair who continued for 8,000. The small blind called while Sebastian Von Toperczer shoved all in for 34,500 in the big blind. Sinclair re-raised to 60,000 which got the small blind out of the pot.

Sinclair flipped over {a-Spades}{a-Hearts} and Von Toperczer would need some help with {k-Clubs}{7-Spades}. The turn was the {4-Clubs} to give Von Toperczer a flush draw but the {8-Diamonds} on the river wasn't meant to be as he headed for the exit.

Almost There

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

The tournament clock is showing that there are 522 entries in total now. There need to be 527 entries in total to surpass the €5,000,000 guaranteed prize pool (after taxes) which means that 5 more players need to enter or reenter.

Last year, the Main Event attracted 529 entries, with registration still open during the dinner break that follows this level, the chances are quite big that that record will be broken.

Sammartino Doubles Through Geshkenbein

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

The wild roller coaster ride of Vladimir Geshkenbein continues as he just had to forfeit a big pot to Dario Sammartino. In a battle button (Sammartino) versus big blind (Geshkenbein), the former had flopped two pair with {10-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and remained best on a board of {10-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{5-Spades}. Geshkenbein had pocket kings for the overpair and paid off Sammartino's 169,100 with more than 180,000 in the middle.

More Eliminations, Reentries, and One New Player

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

Mikita Badziakouski has had a pretty good week here in Rozvadov as he shipped the Short Deck Championship for €213,750, he then finished in fourth place in the €25,500 High Roller for €266,767, and then he finished in fourth place again in the €100,000 Super High Roller for €789,612 bringing his total winnings over the past 6 days to almost €1.3 million. He has now taken his seat in the Main Event, hoping to collect even more for his bank roll.

Kings and Queens

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

After a series of preflop raises, Viliyan Petleshkov and Jordan Cristos got all of their chips in the middle in a pot for an above-average chip stack. Cristos was the all-in player for around 125,000 with Petleshkov barely having him covered.

Viliyan Petleshkov: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Jordan Cristos: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}

Cristos was disappointed when the cards got on their backs with Petleshkov holding the clear advantage. The board ran out {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and the kings from Petleshkov held up to eliminate Cristos.

Givens "Saves" Sekularac in Big Pot

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

Joining the action on the {6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} turn, Ognjen Sekularac in the small blind check-raised from 38,000 to 100,400 and Will Givens pulled the trigger by moving all in. Sekularac asked for a count and the shove of Givens was for 262,900 in total.

Eventually, Sekularac announced a fold and showed his {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}, Givens returned the favor and tabled his {A-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. Both were curious about the river card and Givens grabbed into the deck of the dealer to reveal the second card down, it was the {A-Clubs}.

"Wow, I saved you," Givens said as an even bigger pot would have likely played out on said river.

Peter Bluffs Schemion

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

Jaroslav Peter limped in from mid-position and Ole Schemion raised to 9,000 from the cutoff. Action folded back to Peter who looked at Schemion questioningly. Schemion looked back at Peter, smiled, and put both thumbs up. Peter laughed and then three-bet to 25,000. Schemion looked at his cards again, glanced at Peter, and then made the call.

The flop came {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and both players checked to see the {k-Clubs} come on the turn. Peter counted out some yellow 5,000-value chips and then decided to bet 10,000. Schemion quickly folded and Peter flipped over {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}.

Beylin Busts to Ettedgi

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

Konstantin Beylin pushed all in for 25,500 first to act and was called by Joel Ettedgi on the button.

Beylin turned over {10-Hearts}{9-Spades} and was in need of help, as Ettedgi held {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} for the ovarpair. However, Beylin was left drawing dead on the turn of a board {K-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{A-Spades} and quickly headed out of the tournament area. From one table over, Boris Kuzmanovic departed at almost the same time.
