Johansson Pounds on Veiga

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

In a three-bet pot, Anton Johansson had bet the {8-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} flop and Diogo Veiga had called in position. On the {5-Spades} turn, Johansson checked, Veiga bet 35,000, and Johansson check-raised all in for 212,000.

Veiga was agonizing over it and laid it down after three minutes. Multiple people at the table, with Vladimir Troyanovskiy being the loudest of them all, begged Johansson to show. The Swede made a few gestures of wanting to show, but ultimately left the onlookings hanging and mucked face-down.

McNulty Nearly Triples

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

Anatoly Filatov opened to 6,000 from under the gun and Sean McNulty just called directly to his left. Oswin Ziegelbecker three-bet to 28,000 from the cutoff and Filatov made the call. McNulty was sitting on a stack of 60,000 and pushed all in which allowed Ziegelbecker to shove over the top. Filatov asked for a count but elected to fold to Zieglebecker's shove of 188,700.

Sean McNulty: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Oswin Ziegelbecker: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

It was a classic race with McNulty holding the slight edge. The flop came {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} leaving McNulty in the lead. The {4-Hearts} on the turn and the {7-Hearts} on the river was no help to Ziegelbecker and McNulty dragged in a healthy pot.

Kempe Doubles Through Sekularac

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante
Rainer Kempe
Rainer Kempe

A raise and a call were followed by the three-bet of Ognjen Sekularac in the small blind, who made it 27,000 to go. Rainer Kempe in the big blind gave it some thought and eventually moved all in for 133,500, which forced out the initial raiser and Will Givens on the button. Sekularac made the call and Kempe held the superior pocket pair in showdown.

Rainer Kempe: {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts}
Ognjen Sekularac: {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}

The {K-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} all but locked up the double for the German and things were made official on the {K-Diamonds} turn, the {Q-Spades} river was insignificant.

"Wow, I had king queen of hearts," Givens said in table chat.

Snejberg Doubles Through Kisacikoglu

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

On the three-way flop of {Q-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades}, action checked to Orpen Kisacikoglu and he bet 5,000. Only Josef Snejberg called in late position and checked again the {J-Clubs} turn. Kisacikoglu now bet 25,000 and Snejberg called once more.

The {5-Hearts} appeared on the river and Snejberg checked a third time, Kisacikoglu moved all in and Snejberg snap-called for 51,900.

"That's not good," Kisacikoglu said as he tabled the {K-Spades}{9-Spades} for a busted flush draw. Snejberg had the {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} for top set and left Kisacikoglu very short.

Vieira Bullies Hoefer

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

Paul Hoefer opened to 5,500 in middle position and Joao Vieira three-bet to 17,700 on the button. Hoefer made the call to go heads-up to a flop of {4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}. Hoefer check-called a bet of 13,500 from Vieira and the {2-Diamonds} paired the board on the turn.

Hoefer checked again and Vieira thought for a minute before moving in another bet of 43,000. Hoefer still called and the {5-Spades} completed the board. Hoefer checked for the third time and again, Vieira took a good minute before splashing in a bet of 51,500. Hoefer instantly slid his cards to the muck and Vieira dragged in the pot.
