Ziegler Flips Out Against Vismanis

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Tobias Ziegler
Tobias Ziegler

Kristaps Vismanis raised to 12,000 from under the gun, Tobias Ziegler three-bet to 45,000 from the small blind, Vismanis four-bet shoved and Ziegler called it off.

Tobias Ziegler: {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}
Kristaps Vismanis: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}

It was a classic race that landed in the Latvians favor on {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}. Ziegler, who bubbled the €100K earlier, will miss out on a money-finish again.

Adams Pays Off Givens

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

On a {2-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{10-Spades} board and with 80,000 in the middle already, Timothy Adams checked out of the big blind and Will Givens bet 18,000. Adams called.

The river was the {2-Hearts} and Adams checked again. This time Givens bet 105,000 and Adams tank-called.

Givens turned over {k-Clubs}{10-Hearts} for a full house, and Adams mucked.

Rezaei Doubles Through Ruzicic

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Armin Rezaei's stack was being counted and he had {k-Spades}{k-Clubs} in front of him in the under-the-gun position. The dealer confirmed Rezaei had 175,000 behind and Slobodan Ruzicic quietly counted out chips to pay Rezaei the double-up on the {10-Clubs}{2-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{9-Clubs} board.

Mustafov Falls to Dattani

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Fahredin Mustafov
Fahredin Mustafov

Kristoffer Rasmussen made it 10,500 to go in the cutoff and Michel Dattani three-bet to 34,000 on the button. Fahredin Mustafov four-bet shoved 147,000 from the small blind, Rasmussen tank-folded, and Dattani rapidly called it off.

Fahredin Mustafov: {J-Hearts}{J-Spades}
Michel Dattani: {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}

The {8-Hearts}{5-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop was safe for the Bulgarian grinder but the {K-Diamonds} turn reduced him to two outs. The {Q-Clubs} river wasn't one of them and he headed for the rail.

Blasko Tank-Folds to Kisacikoglu

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Orpen Kisacikoglu opened to 11,000 and Marek Blasko called on the button. Kisacikoglu check-called 16,000 on the {9-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop and then check-called another 25,000 on the {4-Diamonds} turn.

However, on the {9-Hearts} river Kisacikoglu opted to bet 50,000. Blasko tanked, and asked his opponent how much he had behind.

Eventually, and seemingly very reluctantly, Blasko folded allowing Kisacikoglu to take down the pot.

Roger Teska
Roger Teska

Roger Teska opened to 15,000 on the button and Luiz Ferreira called in the small blind. Gary Hasson then three-bet to 49,000 and Teska four-bet to 150,000. Ferreira then five-bet all in. Hasson tank-folded and Teska called all-in for his last 290,500.

Roger Teska: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Luiz Ferreira: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}

The flop came {q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} and tablemate Julian Thomas murmured a quiet "Uh-oh."

The turn was the {6-Spades} but the river {10-Hearts} gave Teska a straight and he doubled up.

Bujtas Drags Another Big One

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Yesterday, Laszlo Bujtas was involved in one of the largest pots of the day, and in the first level of Day 3 the Hungarian dragged another big pot that ended Ernests Patajs' tournament life on the spot.

Both Bujtas and Patajs had been building a sizable pot already on earlier streets, which built the pot already up to around 350,000 when the river was dealt on {A-Spades}{9-Spades}{4-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{K-Spades}. Patajs bet 50,000, with around 150,000 behind, and Bujtas responded by shoving all in.

Patajs was agonizing over it and took over a minute before calling it off with {8-Clubs}{8-Spades} for a set. Bujtas showed him the bad news with {7-Spades}{6-Spades} for a flush. In frustration, Patajs splashed the remainder of his stack all across the table and quickly headed out of the tournament area.

Nurzynski Scores Big Double Through Bujtas

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Moments after Ernests Patajs was eliminated by Laszlo Bujtas, the latter was involved in another large pot against Piotr Nurzynski.

It appeared that Bujtas had opened, Nurzynski had three-bet, Bujtas had then four-bet and Nurzynski had shoved. Bujtas made the call.

Laszlo Bujtas: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
Piotr Nurzynski: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

Bujtas had run into it and needed to spike an ace to chip up even further. However, the board came {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and Nurzynski doubled up.
