Pair Over Pair for Mateos

Level 12 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Michael Soyza took his new stack of 1,000,000 chips and found a seat to the right of Adrian Mateos. It wasn't for long as the two players got all of the chips in the middle preflop with Soyza at risk for just over 900,000.

Adrian Mateos: {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}
Michael Soyza: {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}

Mateos held the preflop edge with the superior pair and the flop of {10-Spades}{4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} changed nothing. The running {10-Hearts} and {10-Clubs} gave both players a full house but Mateos held the stronger hand to eliminate Soyza.

Updated Counts, Addamo and Cynn Lead the Way

Jouhkimainen Wins Three-Way Pot

Level 12 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Manig Loeser had raised from the under-the-gun position to 65,000 and it folded to small blind Vladimir Troyanovskiy. He called and so did big blind Joni Jouhkimainen.

The dealer spread out the {2-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop as both players in the blinds checked to initial raiser Loeser. The German high roller continued with a bet of 100,000 and both Troyanovskiy and Jouhkimainen called the bet.

The all checked on the {K-Spades} turn and they all did the same on the {A-Diamonds} river.

Troyanovskiy opened up {6-Spades}{6-Clubs} but that was no match against the {K-Clubs}{3-Clubs} of Jouhkimainen who took down the pot after Loeser folded.

Segebrecht Gets Caught Bluffing

Level 11 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante
Michael Addamo
Michael Addamo

It folded all the way around to small blind Michael Addamo and he raised to 96,000. Claas Segebrecht defended his big blind and they went heads-up to the flop.

The flop came down {6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} and Addamo continued with a bet of 55,000. Segebrecht called again and the turn was dealt.

The turn was the {7-Spades} and Addamo slowed down and checked this time. Segebrecht took over the initiative and he put in a bet of 100,000.

The river was the {K-Hearts} and Addamo checked again to his opponent. Segebrecht put in a bigger sized bet of 260,000 and the decision was on Addamo. He took his time to think over his decision before eventually calling.

Segebrecht immediately opened up {4-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for the nut low and Addamo showed {8-Spades}{6-Diamonds} as the winning hand.

Tariq and Bicknell Play a Big Pot

Level 11 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante
Kristen Bicknell
Kristen Bicknell

On a flop of {7-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}, Kristen Bicknell and Ali Tariq each put 250,000 into the pot that already had over 200,000 in it. The {k-Clubs} landed on the turn and Bicknell checked from middle position. Tariq fired out a bet of 350,000 in the cutoff and Bicknell called.

The river brought the {a-Spades} and Bicknell checked again. Tariq slid in a bet of 635,000, nearly his whole stack. Bicknell cringed her face a bit and gave it some thought but decided to lay her hand down.

Just a couple of hands later, Bicknell got all of her 700,000 chips in the middle with {a-}{k-} against Manig Loeser with {q-}{q-} and Jack Salter with {a-}{10-}. Bicknell spiked a king on the flop and held on for a triple up.

Sergio Aido
Sergio Aido

Krasimir Yankov raised to 50,000 in the cutoff and Sergio Aido shoved all in for his last 237,000 on the button. Steffen Sontheimer was in the big blind and just flat-called. Yankov gave it some brief thought but elected to fold.

Steffen Sontheimer: {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}
Sergio Aido: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

The flop came {k-Spades}{j-Spades}{6-Spades} and Sontheimer flopped a set of sixes against Aido's straight draw. The turn was the {8-Clubs} and the river brought the {4-Spades}. Neither player held a spade in their hand and Sontheimer took down the pot.
