Gonzalez Gets Them

Level 2 : 1,000/3,000, 3,000 ante

Anatoly Filatov raised to 7,000 from the hijack and Markus Durnegger three-bet to 22,000 from the cutoff. Fabrizio Gonzalez called on the button, and so did Johannes Becker and Sergio Aido in the blinds.

The flop came {4-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}, Becker and Aido checked, Filatov bet 33,000, Durnegger called but Gonzalez raised to 126,000. Becker and Aido quickly folded while chuckling between them. Filatov contemplated for a few seconds and then folded. Durnegger needed more time but ended up folding too.

Level 2 : 1,000/3,000, 3,000 ante

With around 25,000 in the middle, the board read {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{3-Spades}. Shan Huang and Matthias Eibinger were heads-up in the pot with the action on Eibinger. He tossed in a bet of 25,000 from under the gun and Huang check-called from the small blind.

The river was the {10-Hearts} and Huang quickly checked again. Eibinger splashed in a bet of 35,000 and Huang thought for a minute before sending his cards to the muck.

A Friendly Pot

Level 1 : 1,000/3,000, 0 ante

Ali Tariq completed his small blind and Shan Huang was in the big blind.

"Friendly pot? Ok, I'll check. If it was Christoph, it wouldn't be a friendly pot" Huang said with a beaming big smile.

The flop came {10-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and Tariq checked.

"Ok, I'll check too, keep it friendly," Huang said while checking too.

The turn was the {10-Hearts}, Tariq checked again. Huang looked at the board and bet 4,000 which Tariq called.

The river completed the board with the {J-Hearts}, Tariq checked for the last time. Huang bet 11,000 and Tariq called again but then mucked when Huang turned around {10-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} for the turned trip tens.

Becker Over Filatov

Level 1 : 1,000/3,000, 0 ante

Johannes Becker raised from the button and Anatoly Filatov three-bet to 26,000 from the small blind. Markus Durnegger folded his big blind so action was back on Becker. Becker four-bet to 78,000 which Filatov called after considering it for a few seconds.

The flop came {2-Clubs}{10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}, Filatov check-called the 50,000 continuation-bet of Becker.

They both checked through the {5-Hearts} on the turn and the {4-Spades} on the river. Filatov turned around {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} for king high but flipped them over again when Becker showed {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} to pick up the pot.

Eibinger Shuts Down After the Flop

Level 1 : 1,000/3,000, 0 ante

Matthias Eibinger raised to 6,000 on the button and was called by Timothy Adams in the small blind and Ali Tariq in the big blind. The flop came {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{6-Spades} and the action checked to Eibinger who continued for 6,000. Adams called and Tariq came along as well.

The turn brought the {5-Diamonds} and the action checked around to the {5-Spades} on the river. Adams and Tariq checked again and Eibinger gave it some thought before finally knuckling the table as well. Adams turned over {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades} and that was good enough to take down a small pot.
