Eibinger Doubles Through Tang

Level 4 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Gal Yifrach raised to 10,000 from mid-position and was called by Danny Tang in the cutoff. Action folded to Matthias Eibinger in the big blind who shoved. Yifrach asked for a count and the dealer confirmed Eibinger had 174,000 behind. Yifrach folded after a few seconds and Tang went through the options in his head before making the call.

Matthias Eibinger: {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}
Danny Tang: {K-Spades}{Q-Spades}

The flop came {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{3-Spades} to give them both a pair but Tang was ahead with the higher pair.

The turn brought them the {j-Spades} to now give Eibinger trip jacks to push him ahead.

The river completed the board with the {7-Diamonds} to not change the situation and ensure Eibinger would double up.

Thorel Earns an Early Double with Aces

Level 4 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Jean-Noel Thorel
Jean-Noel Thorel

Picking up the action on the flop with Jean-Noel Thorel and Matthias Eibinger heads-up in a pot, the flop read {8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} with over 100,000 in the middle already. After a series of raises, the two players got all of the chips in the middle with Thorel being the player at risk for 925,000.

Jean-Noel Thorel: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}
Matthias Eibinger: {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}

Thorel was in the lead with a pair of aces but Eibinger had outs with a pair and straight draw. The turn was the {2-Diamonds} which changed nothing and the {a-Hearts} on the river only improved Thorel to a set of aces.

Michael Soyza

A completed board of {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{3-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} was already spread across the table with Michael Soyza and Joao Vieira heads-up in the pot. Soyza checked from the blinds and Vieira shipped all in for a little over 400,000 in the cutoff.

Soyza went into the tank for nearly two minutes before making the call. Vieira flipped over {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for a flush while Soyza held {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds} for only one pair. Vieira scored the double up and Soyza was left with a little over 30,000 after the hand.
