Berman Gets There Against Adams

Level 6 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Timothy Adams raised to 17,000 from the under the gun position and he was called by Asaf Berman from the cutoff and Niall Farrell from the small blind.

The flop came down {10-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and Adams continued with a bet of 25,000 after Farrell had checked to him. Berman called rather quickly and Farrell folded.

The {2-Diamonds} was added to the board on the turn. This time the bet by Adams was 120,000 and Berman called again within a second.

The {Q-Hearts} completed the board and Berman got a bit closer as he stood up to inspect the board. Adams threw in 105,000 and Berman called again.

Adams opened up {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} for two pair, but that was not enough as Berman tabled {J-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for a rivered straight.

Bicknell Calls Becker's Bluff

Level 5 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Johannes Becker
Johannes Becker

Jun Wah Yap raised it up from the hijack and Kristen Bicknell three-bet from the small blind. Both Johannes Becker in the big blind and Yap called to see a flop of {10-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{3-Clubs}. Bicknell led out for 70,000 and only Becker called.

The turn brought the {2-Clubs} and Bicknell checked this time. Becker seized the opportunity to bet 125,000 but Bicknell still called. The river was the {3-Diamonds} and Bicknell checked one more time. Becker reached back for a bet of 465,000 and Bicknell went into the tank. After a couple of minutes, Bicknell eventually made the call and Becker showed jack-high. Bicknell turned over {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and was awarded the pot.

"If it was me, I would have tanked for six or seven more minutes," Martin Kabrhel piped up. "But I put him on a full house. Well played Johannes."
