The German 'Prince of the High Rollers' just joined the field. Fedor Holz just sat down at the table of David Peters, James Chen, and Mikita Badziakouski.

Holz's last cash was good for $6,000,000 when he finished runner-up in The Big One for One Drop event earlier this year at the 2018 World Series of Poker.

Eibinger Doubles Through Nitsche

Level 2 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

On a {5-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{2-Clubs}{6-Clubs} turn, Vladimir Troyanovskiy bet 75,000 and Dominik Nitsche raised to 300,000. Ahadpur Khangah folded before Matthias Eibinger three-bet all in for 985,000 from the button.

Troyanovskiy quickly folded before Nitsche called.

"Do you have a straight?" asked Nitsche showing {3-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} for the lower end of the straight. Eibinger showed {k-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for a flush and gutshot straight draw.

"I need a four," he said. The river was the {5-Clubs}, "Or the five of clubs!"

"You're the best," said Nitsche handing over chips to his opponent.

With around 10 minutes remaining in the level, Shan Huang opened to 27,000 from under the gun. Alex Foxen three-bet to 82,000 in the hijack and Christoph Vogelsang four-bet to 215,000 in the cutoff. The action came back to Huang who laid his hand down and Foxen called.

The flop fell {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and Foxen check-called a bet of 135,000 from Vogelsang. The turn brought the {3-Clubs} and Foxen checked again. Vogelsang thought for a couple of minutes before sticking in a bet of 325,000. Foxen looked to his left and stared into the eyes of Vogelsang before making the call.

The river was the {10-Diamonds} and Foxen checked for the third time. Vogelsang thought again and slid in the rest of his 1,050,000 chips. Foxen snap-called this time and Vogelsang turned over {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}. Foxen tabled {a-Clubs}{q-Spades} for top two pair and eliminated Vogelsang as the players were sent on a break.

Kurganov Five-Bets

Level 3 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Jean-Noel Thorel opened the betting action with a raise to 30,000 and Igor Kurganov three-bet to 100,000. Joao Vieira bumped it up even more when he four-bet to 315,000.

It was a bit too much for Thorel who already rebought once and the Frenchman folded. Kurganov took his time to think about it before sliding a big stack of 100,000 chips to the middle. Vieira folded and Kurganov took the pot down with a five-bet.
