Vieira Doubles Through Deeb

Level 12 : 10,000/20,000, 30,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Shaun Deeb opened to 35,000 from under the gun and was called by Alex Livingston and Sam Higgs. Joao Vieira raised the pot to 183,000 from the big blind and Deeb re-potted to 627,000. Livingston and Higgs quickly got out of the way and Vieira stuck in the last of his 425,000 chips.

Joao Vieira: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Shaun Deeb: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

The flop of {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} gave both players a flush draw but Vieira's was higher. The {8-Diamonds} on the turn completed the flush and the {9-Diamonds} on the river changed nothing.

Zinno and Pisarenko Tangle

Level 12 : 10,000/20,000, 30,000 ante

Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better

Anthony Zinno: {x-}{x-} / {q-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{a-Hearts}
Maksim Pisarenko: {x-}{x-} / {j-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} fold

Anthony Zinno completed with a queen and Maksim Pisarenko called. "Okay one more," Pisarenko said when facing a bet on fourth and instantly folded fifth to another high card of Zinno.

"Show me a bluff," the Russian inquired and Zinno replied "I can't" before flashing his {k-Clubs}{q-Spades} down cards.

Anthony Zinno: {x-}{x-} / {2-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{3-Clubs} / {x-}
Maksim Pisarenko: {x-}{x-} / {8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{5-Spades} / {x-}

Soon after they were both involved in the action again and checked fourth. Zinno bet fifth, Pisarenko called and then took the lead on sixth with the better pair. Pisarenko check-called twice and chopped with {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for a low, as Zinno held {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{8-Spades} for aces up for the high pot.

Good Turn for Becker

Level 11 : 8,000/16,000, 24,000 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better

A flop of {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} was spread across the felt and Dario Sammartino was heads-up with Johannes Becker. Sammartino checked to Becker who tossed in a bet. Sammartino check-raised and Becker called.

The turn brought the {8-Hearts} and Sammartino led out. Becker raised this time and Sammartino just called. The river was the {3-Diamonds} and Sammartino check-called another bet from Becker. Becker turned over {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Hearts} for a straight and six-low. Sammartino flashed {2-Spades}{2-Hearts} before his cards hit the muck.

Set for Pisarenko

Level 11 : 8,000/16,000, 24,000 ante

Limit Hold'em

Anthony Zinno raised from the hijack and Maksim Pisarenko three-bet on the button. The blinds folded and Zinno called. The flop came {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and Zinno check-called a bet from Pisarenko.

The turn was the {8-Clubs} and Zinno checked again. Pisarenko tossed in another bet and Zinno thought for a moment, deciding if he wanted to go all the way with his hand. Zinno called and then check-called one more bet on the {2-Spades} river. Pisarenko showed {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs} for a set of jacks and Zinno knuckled the table.

Blasko Takes From Riess

Level 11 : 8,000/16,000, 24,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

With some 190,000 in the middle and the completed board showing {k-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{2-Hearts}, Ryan Riess made it 92,000 to go out of the big blind and Marek Blasko opted for a raise to 330,000. That sent Riess into the think tank and he apologized to the table for taking so long.

Eventually, Riess couldn't find a fold and called to lose a decent chunk of his stack to the {a-Hearts}{3-Spades} for a straight of Blasko.

One for Ferguson in PLO

Level 11 : 8,000/16,000, 24,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Maksim Pisarenko raised to 45,000 from under the gun and was called by Daniel Negreanu from one seat over and Chris Ferguson in the big blind.

The trio checked the {j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop and the {10-Clubs} turn was checked to Negreanu, who bet 80,000. Only Ferguson called and they then checked down the {6-Hearts} on the river.

Ferguson rolled over the {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{5-Clubs} for trips tens and won the pot.

Foxen Can't Find a Low Card

Level 11 : 8,000/16,000, 24,000 ante

Razz

Alex Foxen: {x-}{x-} / {3-}{a-}{j-}{q-} / {x-}
Daniel Negreanu: {x-}{x-} / {7-}{4-}{a-}{5-} / {x-}

Alex Foxen completed with a three showing and Daniel Negreanu called with a seven. Foxen continued on fourth and Negreanu still called. Negreanu took the betting lead on fifth and Foxen raised for nearly all of his chips, as the two players quickly stuck in the rest.

Daniel Negreanu: {2-}{8-} / {7-}{4-}{a-}{5-} / {x-}
Alex Foxen: {2-}{4-} / {3-}{a-}{j-}{q-} / {x-}

Negreanu improved to a seven on sixth while Foxen was looking to out-draw him. Negreanu quickly tabled a {10-} on seventh and Foxen drew a pair with {j-} and was sent to the rail.
