Peper Wisely Checks It Back

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante

Three players went to a flop of {q-Clubs}{7-Spades}{5-Diamonds} with a little over 2,000 in the middle. The action checked to Christoph Peper in the hijack who bet 1,500. The small blind folded and Panagiotis Kouloukakos called from the big blind.

The {7-Clubs} paired the board on the turn and Kouloukakos check-called another bet of 2,500 from Peper. The {5-Clubs} completed the board and Kouloukakos checked it again. Peper thought for a moment and then checked it back. Kouloukakos turned over {7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for trip sevens and Peper mucked.
