Big Slick Works for Graphia

Level 5 : 200/300, 300 ante

Nicholas Graphia raised to 800 in middle position and Leo Tames re-raised the minimum to 1,300 in the small blind. Graphia just called and they went heads-up to a flop of {k-Hearts}{9-Spades}{4-Spades}. Tames led out for 1,600 and Graphia called.

The turn brought the {7-Diamonds} and Tames fired out another bet of 4,000 which Graphia still called. The {a-Hearts} landed on the river and Tames checked this time. Graphia flicked in a bet of 5,000 and Tames quickly called. Graphia showed {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} for two pair and Tames mucked his cards.

Riess Calls Correctly

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

With a pot of around 12,000 and the flop reading {7-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Spades}, Ismail Kalkan and Oliver Riess were heads-up. Kalkan checked from the big blind and Riess tossed in a bet of 3,300 which Kalkan called.

The turn was the {2-Clubs} and both players checked to the {8-Diamonds} on the river. Kalkan pushed out a bet of 12,200, more than half of his remaining chips. Riess thought for a minute before making the call. Kalkan opted to just muck his cards and Riess showed {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} to claim the pot.

Kurfner Mucks a Split Hand

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

The board was reading {10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and [Removed:509] bet 2,500 from the cutoff with Patrick Kurfner check-calling from middle position.

The turn was the {j-Hearts} and both players checked.

The {10-Diamonds} came on the river and Kurfner led for 6,100, a bet that Novin called. Kurfner threw his cards to the muck and Novin showed {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}.

"You know that you play the board?", a player asked Novin, who said "Yes."

Kurfner laughed and said that he mucked a pair of sixes.

Kulfa Stacking Chips

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

Ivica Kulfa raised it up from under the gun and was called by Israel Cohen in middle position along with the big blind. The flop came {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades} and Kulfa continued for 2,000. Cohen called and the big blind folded.

The turn was the {2-Spades} and Kulfa fired out another bet of 3,500 which Cohen still called. The {7-Clubs} double-paired the board on the river and Kulfa tossed in a bet of 10,100. Cohen thought for a moment but still made the call. Kulfa flipped over {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for a full house and Cohen mucked.

Cohen was down to just 8,000 chips after the hand but was seen exiting the tournament area just moments later. This was Cohen's second bullet of the day so far, meaning he will have to wait for a later flight to play again.

Bodis Makes Quads

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

Doron Chayon was down to just 7,400 chips and he shoved all in from middle position. Richard Bodis was in the small blind and re-shoved all in over the top and the big blind folded.

Richard Bodis: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Doron Chayon: {4-Spades}{4-Clubs}

Not only did Bodis hold the larger pocket pair, but he also had both of the suits covered. That didn't seem to matter much as the flop of {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} put him way out front. The {k-Hearts} on the turn improved Bodis to quads and Chayon was eliminated.

Bezalel Gets Paid Off on the River

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante

A completed board of {j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} was spread across the felt with around 27,000 in the pot. Liad Bezalel shoved all in for just 5,700 but Adam Twito wasn't about to let him take down such a big pot without a fight.

It took a couple of minutes and it pained Twito to call, but he did so anyway. Bezalel showed {j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} for trip jacks and Twito relinquished the pot.
