Becker Makes the Bigger Flush

Level 14 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Dieter Becker open-shipped all in for 37,000 in early position and [Removed:321] Omari re-shoved all in for 126,000 in the cutoff. Elad Teva was in the small blind and went into the tank for nearly two minutes before finally letting his hand go.

Dieter Becker: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
[Removed:321] Omari: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}

Becker was in a dominating position and the flop of {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} gave him the better flush draw as well. The {2-Spades} on the turn changed nothing and the {6-Clubs} on the river gave Becker the better flush to double up.

Daoheuang Doubles Through Litrico

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Somphong Daoheuang raised to 6,000 in the cutoff and Paolo Litrico just called from the big blind. The flop came {7-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Litrico led out for 4,500. Daoheuang raised to 11,000 and Litrico called.

The turn was the {7-Hearts} and Litrico ripped all in. Daoheuang instantly called off his stack of 17,500 and the cards were tabled. Litrico showed {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} but was drawing dead to the {a-Spades}{7-Spades} of Daoheuang. The river was the {10-Clubs} and Daoheuang scooped a double up.

Sinisi Quadraples

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Nicola Sinisi was left with 13,500 chips and he put them in the middle from early position. Three players called the shove, Karim Frick from middle position, Mateusz Zerko from the cutoff and Kevin Paschmann from the button.

The flop came {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and all three players checked.

The turn was the {4-Clubs} and Frick bet 17,000 with only Paschmann calling.

The river was the {4-Hearts} and this time they both checked.

Sinisi opened {3-Spades}{3-Hearts} for a full house which was good, since Frick had {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for a flush and Paschmann {a-Spades}{k-Clubs} with just ace high.

Shkapenko Sends Bruggen to the Rail

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Britt Petersen opened to 5,000 in middle position and Thomas Bruggen shoved all in for 35,800 on her left. Oleh Shkapenko was next to act and just called. The action folded back to Petersen who laid her hand down as well.

Oleh Shkapenko: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Thomas Bruggen: {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}

The flop came {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}{9-Diamonds} and Shkapenko was still in a commanding lead with his pocket kings. The {4-Spades} on the turn nor the {9-Spades} on the river would be of any help to Bruggen who was eliminated.

Break

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

The remaining 247 players are heading on another 20-minute break. Late registration will officially be closed when the cards go back in the air.

Zerko Wins the Battle of the Blinds

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

The action folded to Mateusz Zerko in the small blind who just limped in. Kevin Paschmann opted to see a flop for free and the flop came {k-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}. Zerko led out for 3,200 and Paschmann called.

The turn was the {q-Hearts} and Zerko fired out another bet of 6,500. Paschmann still called and the {k-Hearts} hit the river. Zerko counted out a bet of 9,500 and Paschmann gave it some thought and decided to call. Zerko flipped over {j-Spades}{7-Spades} for a full house and Paschmann conceded.

Kaldaron Eliminated in Four-Way Pot

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Jamel Ghizaoui opened the action with a raise under the gun to 3,600 getting calls Ryszard Kubik and Ali Cetiner on the next two seats, while Yaniv Kaldaron shoved from the small blind.

All three players called and they saw the flop coming {k-Spades}{4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} with all three of them checking.

The {5-Spades} came on the turn and Ghizaoui bet 10,000 with only Cetiner calling.

The {3-Hearts} completed the board and they checked again, going to showdown. Ghizaoui had {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts} which was good against Cetiner's {8-Spades}{6-Spades} and Kaldaron's {a-Spades}{5-Clubs}, with the latter departing from the tournament.
