Loewenthal Doubles Through Guo

Level 10 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

The board read {4-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{q-Clubs}{6-Hearts} with around 160,000 in the middle already.

Nachal Loewenthal had shoved from the middle position for 131,500 and Hongbin Guo had dived into the tank on the button. After a while of considering his options, Guo put in the chip for the call. Loewenthal tabled {q-Spades}{10-Spades} for trip queens and that was enough for Guo to throw his cards towards the muck. Loewenthal asked the dealer to flip them over and it was revealed Guo had held {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}.

Kowal Eliminates Sigurjonsson

Level 10 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Graydon Kowal raised to 8,000 on the button and Gudmundur Sigurjonsson called from the big blind.

The flop was {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}{3-Spades} and Sigurjonsson checked. Kowal bet 15,000 and Sigurjonsson check-called.

The turn was the {6-Spades} and Sigurjonsson checked again. Kowal continued with a bet of 30,000 and Sigurjonsson check-raised all in for about 50,000. Kowal snap-called and the players revealed their hands.

Gudmundur Sigurjonsson: {k-Spades}{4-Spades}
Graydon Kowal: {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}

Kowal had tens and nines but Sigurjonsson was in the lead with a flush. However, that didn't last long as the {10-Clubs} completed the board, giving Kowal tens full of nines to win the pot, and eliminate Sigurjonsson.
