Big Double for Speranza

Level 6 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Gianluca Speranza
Gianluca Speranza

In a preflop raising war, Netanel Amedi got his stack in against table neighbor Gianluca Speranza for more than the starting stack and the 2017 WSOPE Main Event runner-up snap-called for a very specific reason.

Netanel Amedi: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Gianluca Speranza: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}

The board came {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} and Speranza doubled to leave Amedi on crumbs, who then inquired with the floor about the re-entry option.

Eights Are Good for Chrobak

Level 6 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

In a head's up pot, the flop read {q-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and Mateusz Moolhuizen check-raised to 6,000 a bet of 1,500 from Mateusz Chrobak, who called.

The turn {6-Hearts} went check-check and so did the {6-Spades} river. Moolhuizen flipped over {2-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}, which was not enough to win the pot as Chrobak held {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}.

On a three-way turn of {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{3-Spades}{10-Diamonds}, Salvatore Camarda in the small blind made it 3,100 to go. Thai Ha called out of the big blind and Andrej Desset in the cutoff raised to 10,500. Camarda came along, as did Ha, and they then checked the {6-Hearts} on the river.
