Level 6 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Gianluca Speranza
Gianluca Speranza

In a preflop raising war, Netanel Amedi got his stack in against table neighbor Gianluca Speranza for more than the starting stack and the 2017 WSOPE Main Event runner-up snap-called for a very specific reason.

Netanel Amedi: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Gianluca Speranza: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}

The board came {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} and Speranza doubled to leave Amedi on crumbs, who then inquired with the floor about the re-entry option.

The turn {6-Hearts} went check-check and so did the {6-Spades} river. Moolhuizen flipped over {2-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}, which was not enough to win the pot as Chrobak held {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}.
