Quads for Tsang

Level 6 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

James Chen opened to 2,300 from middle position and Anson Tsang defended from the big blind.

A flop of {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{10-Spades} was dealt and Tsang checked. Chen bet 3,100 and Tsang check-called. The turn was the {k-Hearts} and was checked through to the {k-Spades} river. Both players opted to check again and Tsang tabled {k-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} for quad kings to win the pot and Chen mucked.

Lampropulos Doubles Through Tran

Level 5 : 400/800, 800 ante
Maria Lampropulos
Maria Lampropulos

First to act, Benny Glaser opened to 2,000 and picked up a caller in middle position. Duc Tran on the button squeezed to 10,000 and Maria Lampropulos in the big blind reraised to 24,000. That folded out Glaser and the cold-caller, while Tran called.

The flop came {8-Clubs}{k-Spades}{9-Hearts} and Lampropulos continued for 15,000, Tran pushed all in and Lampropulos called for her last 46,300 total.

Maria Lampropulos: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}
Duc Tran: {6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}

Tran was caught with the fingers in the cookie jar as he needed runner-runner to send Lampropulos to the rail. The {q-Hearts} turn locked up the double for Lampropulos on her second entry in the event and the meaningless {6-Clubs} river completed the board.

Manole Folds the River; Doubles After

Level 5 : 400/800, 800 ante

In a battle of the blinds with 16,000 in the middle and the turn showing {k-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{4-Spades}, Mihai Manole made it 8,000 to go and Amir Mozaffarian called to see the {8-Hearts} on the river.

Manole slowed down and opted to check, which prompted a bet of 25,000 by Mozaffarian. Manole had fewer than that behind and sent his cards into the muck.

Soon after, Manole took a flip with ace-queen against the tens of Anas Belatik and got there to double his short stack.

Roller Coaster Double Up for Zoufri

Level 5 : 400/800, 800 ante
Abdelhakim Zoufri
Abdelhakim Zoufri

Pierre Neuville opened to 2,000 and Hans Weide three-bet to 5,200 in the hijack before Abdelhakim Zoufri made a four-bet for 13,500 on the button. Neuville folded but Weide called.

The flop brought {8-Hearts}{j-Spades}{10-Spades} and Weise pushed all-in, snap-called by Zoufri for his remaining chips.

Abdelhakim Zoufri: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Hans Weide: {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

Zoufri was in good shape for the double up but the turn fell the {j-Diamonds}, giving trips to Weise. However, a {k-Clubs} showed up on the river, giving the full house to Zoufri who took down the pot.
